I really liked this place. It’s their newer version of MKO nails on marguerite and la paz, this one is marguerite and oso. We had a bit of an issue with the Unilocal deal and what the manicurist was telling me as far as pricing. But Christine, the front desk lady(manager maybe?) was able to clear it up. One thing that really really helped was that Christine spoke perfect English so she was able to communicate what I wanted from me to the manicurist. Note this place is really busy, so I’d call for an appointment next time. Has anyone been here for pink and white full set? I’m thinking of getting that next time.

I went to MK Nails only because of the reviews I read here about Bella. Yes, she is very good with nails, and ok personality, very quiet, but that’s perfectly all right. The problem is when she’s not having a good day. Both the quality of her work and her attitude were unacceptable and uncomprehensible in a service business. At my last appt, my 4th with her, she painted all my cuticles with polish without cleaning them up, filed my nails in different shapes and asymmetrically. I asked her in a gentle, polite manner(which is actually my normal speaking tone) if she would please correct the problems. She did for the most part. When she was finished, she said she would not be doing my nails again. I mentioned it to the owner Kim, who told me she had seen Bella with tears in her eyes that morning, that she would talk to her. I completely understood, and said when I call for my next appt, to ask Bella if she’s willing to do my nails. Kim had not asked her when I called for next appt, and Bella was leaving early, because I was somewhat desperate with broken nails, accepted an appt with Tommy. Tommy had done my nails once before when Bella wasn’t available, he was ok, but cut my cuticles in 2 places. I let it go, said nothing. So on the last day at this salon, I got Tommy. Big smile, I told him nicely what happened last time with cuticles, to just be careful. He suddenly pushed back in his chair from the table, creating a scene, said he’s NOT going to do my nails since I don’t like his work. Again, the owner Kim came over, apologized, suggested someone else might do my nails. So the problem is Kim, who’s non-confrontational, allowing this kind of behavior in her employees, even if it costs her customers, which in my case it did.

So incredibly pleased with the customer service i received from MK Nails and Bella did an amazing job fixing my nails. The owner Kim was amazing at responding to my complaint and had no problem staying after hours to fix the problem and making sure her customer left satisfied. I will DEFINITELY be back for Bella to do my fill AND eyebrows

Our favorite nail salon! They put plastic bags in the pedicure tubs so you can feel safe your feet will stay clean and all their tools are wrapped. Very friendly and most of the staff does a great job!

I love this nail spa!!! Every time I come here I feel very welcomed. Bella takes such good care of me, she makes every visit so pleasant and fun!!! I love that she doesn’t try to over sell me and sticks to what I request! I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails and she always manages to not only meet my expectations but exceeds them!!! If you are looking for a new nail spa with excellent service, reasonable prices, and a friendly environment where they speak English?! This is the place!!! Bella is the best and I highly recommend her to anyone who’s nice yet very picky.

Unilocal is my go-to for recommendations, so I’m happy to share that Bella is fan.tas.tic when it comes to gel manicures! She’s meticulous, friendly and very genuine. You’re welcome. :)

Mimi Lu is still in this location giving facials, so this place gets 5 stars from me! She is the only reason I come here. I started going to her when I lived in Rancho Santa Margarita a few years back, I live in Long Beach now but I still drive down to see Mimi every couple of months for a facial, she is that good. Leaves me clean, glowing, and feeling gorgeous, and I can see the results of her facials for weeks after her facials(glowing, clearer skin, smoother make-up application, etc.). Mimi rocks and I wouldn’t let anybody else touch my face with a ten foot pole!

Walked in today on a Saturday afternoon for a pedicure and had no wait time. Sat in a massage chair and was offered bottled water. Upgraded my pedicure as the packages were $ 5 off. Jasmine did a fabulous job! Will definitely be returning soon!

I took my wife here for our first time and it was awesome! Granted, we got the«Royal» service, but still was awesome! Five stars all the way and will be coming back for my monthly service. Ask for Linda, she will take care of you.

This place is awesome! I have been to their sister location — MKO nails and they are fantastic as well. The nail salon is very clean and they offered me water while I was getting my nails done. They do a fantastic job — my gel manicure typically lasts me 3 – 4 weeks and I have gotten so many compliments. Thanks so much for amazing service!

I was at Stein Mart and notice a new Nail Salon — MK Nails. I didn’t realize it had been there for 8 months. I went in for a fill and pedi and the place had no customers. The nail people that were there were doing each other nails. The guy that did my nails did a great job, but the older lady that did my pedi was not good at all. I would not recommend going there for a pedi. When I said I only wanted my toe nails filed and I did not want a callus remover I could tell she does not want to be told what to do.

By far the BESTNAILSALON in Mission Viejo… and I especially love BELLA! The salon is impeccably clean, the nail technicians are kind, professional and personable, AND the owner is always there, on-site, working and talking with clients and making sure everything runs smoothly! I would give them 10 stars if I could!

I went here when they were called MKO nails, and loved that you received hot stone massage without having to pay extra. They since changed it to just MK nails under new management. Christine the receptionist was very helpful and super sweet. I had Betty as an pedicurist and she was absolutely amazing. I never felt rushed at all like I do in most nail places. I spent $ 30 and received a long massage with different oils and hot stone. I definitely will be coming back soon! Thank you.

I have been going to the other MKO Nails since it opened about five years ago. The service is outstanding. I came to their new location today, by CVS and SteinMart, for the first time. This place is just lovely. It’s smaller, but brand, spanking new and very clean and relaxing. I always am in awe at how MKO Nails never smells like fingernail polish remover. Both locations are extremely clean. Today, I had Anne(best leg massage ever!) and met Kimberly, who was very good and very sweet. To the women below who had to wait and someone was seated before you – my guess would be that woman had an appointment. They get calls for appointments all the time; although I never make appointments. MKO Nails never disappoints. Try them!

This was a total bust. My best friend and I made reservations at their other location, which is across the street. 40 min after we arrived and had not yet been helped in any way(they were slammed but still!), they said we’d be seen right away if we went to this location. We headed over and it was much calmer and larger. We told them what happened and they said they’d be with us asap. After about 20 min, another customer walks in and they sat her before us! They didn’t say anything to us! We considered walking out but figured wed just have more time to chat. At almost 439, about an hr and a half after our original reservation time, we were seated. We told them we wanted the mani and pedi for $ 30. After they started they asked if we wanted additional services, and pointed at something that was $ 35. It didn’t seem like a lot more services, so the only $ 5 price jump made sense to us, so we said ok. I asked for the lady to keep my nail shapes and lengths and only buff if absolutely necessary, as I’m pretty on that myself. She went ahead and reshaped and shortened every nail! And not every nail she reshaped was symmetrical, which drives me crazy. Since it was already done and I was just trying to enjoy time with my best friend while in town, I decided to keep it to myself. I wanted a French mani and pedi. I’m not sure if this normal, but on same nails she painted the white tips way above my actual white tips. I think it looks weird but wasn’t sure if that was normal so didn’t know what to say. We got to the front and they said $ 65EACH! We were floored and argued it was only supposed to be $ 35 each! They showed us that what they pointed at was for a pedicure only! They almost doubled the price on us in a very sneaky way! We tried arguing w them for awhile, but their English wasn’t good enough to understand what we were saying. My friend said she left a tip for both of them so I should not tip. The lady, not speaking English well, started to protest when she saw I didn’t leave a tip. I didn’t have any more energy to reexplain that my friend’s tip was to be split, and we walked out. The next day I felt I had more hangnails than when I’d walked in and the paint was already severely chipping, more than I’ve ever seen after less than 24 hours. Needless to say we won’t be back.
