Private Guitar lessons for newbies, beginners and intermediate students of all ages. The genres I teach include classical, folk, pop, rock and contemporary Christian music. I use the Berklee Press and Hal Leonard Method books along with Guitar Pro tabs and standard repertoire for classical guitar. Depending on the interest of the student, I will teach my lessons using either a classical guitar, steel string acoustic or electric guitar.

Established in 2010.

I decided to begin teaching guitar part-​time after being approached by interested students who had heard me perform.

Business Owner

I began playing guitar and performing at age 10 in my teenage brother’s bluegrass band. While in my teens I formed a rock band with my high school friends and performed at school and community functions. While attending college, I began studying classical guitar at Cal State University Long Beach and performed with their guitar ensemble for four years. During the late 1980’s and throughout the 1990’s I did wedding music in a flute and guitar duo. Also since the late 1980’s, I have been playing regularly in Christian worship bands.
