History

Established in 2013.

Mezmereyez by Tonoi was founded by Markeisha Tonoi Similton. She wanted to make a sanctuary for women to feel beautiful about themselves inside and out, no matter the age, shape or size. She worked for a great company for 3 years to get a great understanding of the business field she wanted to be in. She then set off on her own. Taking the knowledge she learned from her triumphs as well as tribulations and set sail to succeed. Mezmereyez by Tonoi is OC’s premier destination for girls and women of all ages to learn and feel beautiful about themselves.

Markeisha Tonoi Similton was born in Orange County, California and moved to Las Vegas when she was a little girl. Soon after graduating High school she realized corporate America was not for her so she decided to follow after her father in the beauty industry. After graduating Beauty school, she wanted a salon of her own. Not wanting to walk before she crawls, she knew she needed to work for a salon first, and she did just that. Three short years later she has since opened the doors of her very own Beauty bar.

Esmeralda has been doing my lashes for 2 years now. I initially had them put on for my wedding and never had them removed! I actually followed her to this salon when she relocated and I would pretty much follow her anywhere! That being said, Mezmereyez salon is wonderful! Clean, relaxing, and everyone there is always so friendly. I get complements on my lashes almost daily, the best one is how wonderful people think my «natural» lashes are ;-) The cats out of the bag, it’s just Esmeralda’s amazing talent. Run don’t walk to this place and never have to battle with mascara again

Markeisha is awesome! I have been to handful of artists the past 3 – 4 years and wasn’t happy with anyone’s work. One of my girl friend referred me to here. And I have been coming to her for about 2 years now, every 3 weeks I’ll come for a 30 mins fill. Markeisha is very professional and sweet. Her work is amazing. I have been going to Markeisha for my lashes for years. She is amazing. My lashes look and feel natural. Markeisha is always professional and makes me feel very comfortable. She is very flexible with her schedule and I can schedule appointments with ease. With my busy schedule this is essential. I get so many compliments on my lashes and have her to thank for that. Markeisha has been doing my eyelash extensions for over a year now. I went to another salon prior to finding her. I found Markeisha after looking for a place closer to my house. I’m addicted to my extensions. They are so natural looking and I can’t even feel them. She is very professional and always on time. There are quit a few places out there that do eyelashes, however they are NOT done properly or your own lashes fall out which should not happen! Markeisha is the best, so worth the money spent!

I got my eyelash extension training with Markeisha, and she was absolutely wonderful! She was very professional and patient, which is very important while learning this skill because it can be a little frustrating. Markeisha was very good about keeping me calm when I reached that point of frustration, and reassured me that she too had a difficult time at first. She also provided me with a powerpoint presentation that explained all the details about eyelash extensions. The training is about 3 – 4 hours long, but the best part is that it doesn’t end there! She is great about following up and would ask me to send her pictures of my work. In addition, she was willing to come back if I needed anymore help, but I actually benefited from her 3 hour training. All in all, I definitely recommend her if you are looking to get trained. I know it may be a little pricey, but it is SOOO worth it! Just remember not to give up. I am excited to see her new salon, and most likely will be getting my lashes done there from now on :)
