Howard’s Upholstery works on: Sofas, loveseats, chairs, dining seats, patio furniture, cornice boxes, ottomen, window treatments, pillows, footstools, duvet covers and almost anything that is upholstered on to wood. History

Established in 1976.

Howard’s Custom Upholstery started as a Partnership & is now owned by a son of one of the original partners. We have been in the same location for over 36 years! The quality of our work has improved yearly!

We have always supported community activities, and are happy to now serve the sons & daughters of our original customers!

My once high-​quality-​sofa had cushions that had seen better days. I had to decide between re-​stuffing the cushions or tossing the sofa and buying a new one. I’m VERY happy that I chose Howard’s Custom Upholstery to re-​stuff my cushions. They also had a technician come over to clean them while they were at the shop. My beautiful sofa looks and feels brand new again! Elaine and Tavy took the time to go over all the options for filling with me and everything turned out perfectly. I’ll go nowhere else for upholstery needs in the future.

I’m sitting on my newly recovered sofa and I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Howard’s does beautiful work and are a pleasure to work with from picking out the fabric with Elaine to the measuring with Octavio to the pick up/​delivery. They are great communicators and kept me up to date throughout on the next steps. And I so appreciated being invited to the shop to sit on potential foam inserts to choose the right one. And as I sit here looking at the workmanship, the cost was totally worth it and so much better than had I spent far more to get a new sofa of questionable quality that might take months to receive. This was done so fast! The beautiful stitching, the fabric placement, the fill, the tightened springs… I’m so happy! I’d use Howard’s again in a heartbeat.

A gem! My husband and I purchased a sectional from Macy’s 4 years ago and the cushions were in desperate need of re-​stuffing. From the moment I walked in, I was provided a warm and genuine greeting by Elaine. She cared enough to ask a few questions about how my family utilizes the seating area. Elaine provided various options for comfort while being very candid about the price and meeting our needs for the long term. My family is ecstatic about our cushions! Thanks to Howard’s Upholstery and Elaine, for alleviating our back discomfort and providing us with the quality of cushion that is sure to last! Looking forward to getting my dining seats reupholstered — a family heirloom that is in desperate need of new fabric and foam.

Had another great experience with Howard’s custom upholstery! This time had an outdoor patio set reupholstered. The fabrics are great and being able to customize the look of the patio set with upholstery makes a huge difference. My craigslist furniture find looks high end and awesome. Howard’s did an excellent job refurbishing my Restoration Hardware couch cushion that was down filled and gone squishy on me. Filled with a nice firm foam and I couldn’t be more pleased! Recommend!

Received a quote of over $ 6000. for chair and ottoman. This was more than double the amount of 4 other quotes I received for the same items. I dont know what kind of work Howard does, but with that price I’ ll never know. Good Luck Howards…

Craftsmen are a disappearing breed, but Howards is alive and well and the wife and I are pleased that they are in business in our area. Howards service is first rate, their work is beyond good (it’s great) and they do what they say and make no excuses. In fact, they said they could transform our old couch into a showpiece and they did! The also made us a cozy chair and ottoman to match, along with some pillows. They aren’t cheap, but if you looking for cheap… shop at one of those chain furniture stores. But if you are looking for custom made furniture that will wow your friends, or just want your favorite piece of furniture reupholstered and made to look better than new… you’ve got to check out Howards.

The staff here is great. They did an awesome job re-​upholstering a 1950’s Eames chair for me. Elaine was terrific to work with and the finished product is exceptional.
