Just moved to the OC community. Needed my brakes replaced, checked out a couple of different auto shops on Unilocal.So glad I walked into Finishline auto shop. John and his crew provided excellent service! Very trustworthy, efficient and cost effective.

Such an awesome team! I was stuck at work and needed work done desperately on my car. They offered to come pick up my car to get started on it. They finished just in time for me to pick it up after work. They were so honest and respectful to my time and money. Thank you so much John and team! You will be seeing me again!

Finishline is our «go-​to» car place as well! Can’t tell you how many times a light comes on indicating service needed and I just pop on over. Without exception, John and his crew have me all fixed up and on my way super quick! It’s hard to find a competent and honest mechanic these days and that’s exactly what we found in John. Whether it’s an oil change, or something major, you can always count on Finishline.

A friend recommended Tire Rack for tires and Finishline for installation, and we couldn’t be happier. John was so professional, extremely courteous, and he even personally drove me across town to pick up my son from school when my tire installation ran a little longer than expected! He also helped out with my manufacturer rebates by searching online, printing out my rebate forms, and printing extra copies of the receipts I would need to submit with my rebate forms. Amazing customer service! I originally thought this was strictly a tire installation business, but now that I know they do all sorts of auto repair I will definitely be bringing my vehicle back for future maintenance/​repairs. I usually dread taking my car anywhere because many auto repair shops are notorious for being less than honest (especially with women), but I feel confident that John and Finishline would take care of my vehicle in a fair and honest manner. Try Finishline, you won’t be disappointed!

John has been an amazing person to run across. Very rarely do you find the integrity and the will to make sure the customer is happy and also has a fair deal. If you don’t want to get ripped off and you just want your car fixed at a fair deal, go see the man. Ask for John. Tell him Ryan sent you. You will not regret it.

The most honest and competent auto mechanic I’ve known. The first time I took my Toyota to him a few years ago, I wanted a high mileage service, but John insisted my car only needed an oil change. The next time I took that car to him, engine warning lights ablaze, he diagnosed the problem and contacted a nearby Toyota dealer to find out the problem was an outstanding warranty issue. He charged us nothing as he sent us on our way to the dealer.
John has more than earned our loyalty and trust.

My husband and I whole-​heartedly endorse this business. I discovered John and Finishline in early 2014, shortly after my we moved to Orange County, and we are so impressed with our experiences here that my husband, who has always been staunchly against going anywhere but the dealership for maintenance, has switched to Finishline — he’s a believer! We find ourselves raving about it to anyone who brings up car repairs.
John always puts you at ease, and is very honest about what needs to happen now and what can wait. Once I had some work done and would need to return the following week to finish it up and he did not charge me the first day, saying I could just pay all at once the next week, like a tab at Cheers! Genuinely great customer service — he truly cares and you leave smiling.
Additionally I also think his prices are not only competitive, but in most cases, quite a savings over the dealership.

Had just visited the dealer for my last freebie oil change — they informed me that I needed rear brakes. After going on Unilocal and calling a few different mechanics, I narrowed my search to a couple shops closer to home and finally chose Finishline.
John (the owner) was professional, friendly and reasonably priced. He got me in right away, did a visual inspection of the vehicle and told me that I most likely didn’t yet need brakes. He preceded to put the car on the lift for a more thorough inspection and along with one of his mechanics; agreed that I wouldn’t need brakes any time soon.
Honesty, integrity, professionalism, empathy, kindness… just some of the many words that describe John and his team! Now, when someone asks me if I know a good, «honest» mechanic… I have a quick and confident answer.

The owner is very nice, helpful, and honest. He knows his stuff and is very accommodating — he will do what it takes to make you happy. They won’t try to take advantage of you. This is the best auto shop I’ve ever been to. If you’re in Mission Viejo you should be coming here!

John and his team did a great job installing 4 tires on my German conveyance. John knows his stuff and discussed with me average wear per tire and other important factors. Does a nice job and did it while I waited.

My car had been having some issues and it took me weeks to have the time to get it looked at, but when I did I went to Finishline and crossed my fingers that it wouldn’t be too bad.
Turned out my car had some major issues, but they talked me through the issues and helped me to know which were high priority so that we could work out what was best for me right now (time and money wise). It was all taken care of Very quickly for me and they went above and beyond! Javier was my technician and he fixed my car up right! Its driving better than I can ever remember. He even took the extra time to do the little things (like fix my fogged up headlights) and it wasn’t to charge me, it was because that’s the kind of guy he is and because he knew it would make my driving easier.
I am really happy that I was able to take my car here, it was a great experience. The technicians and management are trustworthy and know there stuff. Come to Finishline, I truly believe you’ll get a fair and honest price and excellent quality work.
