I met Malissa today, and she had the arduous task of removing my awful extensions from another salon before she could do my new full set.
Malissa and the whole EyeCandy OC team, including Jamie and Jessica, were amazing. My lashes were disgusting upon arrival, and Malissa painstakingly removed them and maintained my natural lashes underneath. She then put on a new full set of extensions that are suited to my face, and they look beautiful.
This process took longer than expected, and Malissa was kind enough to stay late and see the whole process through. Anyone at EyeCandy could have rightfully told me they couldn’t accommodate such a lengthy appointment, but everyone stayed late to help, including Jamie and Jessica, who were busy managing their own clients.
Today was one of the most exemplary instances of customer service I’ve ever encountered, and I’m so thankful to Malissa and EyeCandy OC.

Jessica has been doing my lashes for over a year now, I absolutely love my lashes I get complements on them all the time. I’m completely addicted. Jessica is very accommodating, I own my business and sometimes my schedule conflicts with my lash appointment, but Jessica does whatever she can to work with me. Jessica is amazing. I went somewhere else previously and was not satisfied and went to Jessica to take them off. Jessica encouraged me to to use her services as I would be much happier with the results. She was right! Her products and services blew the last place out of the water. Jessica is absolutely amazing! I loved my lashes and Jessica. I would get stopped everywhere I would go, with people asking me about my lashes. The truth about Jessica:
She may gave you a lot of lashes first time you go, she packs a lot of thick lashes, and you may love it. However, her customer service skills really show when you have an emergency. My lashes started going different directions and I lost a chunk of them the second day after I got a refill.
I called her and she advised me to just brush them and was not willing to see me. She finally got me in a WEEK after texting her and even sending her my pictures. She was very rude about the whole situation.
First of all brushing will shed your OWN lashes a lot more. But I had no choice, since a chunk of the lashes fell off, i needed to brush and hide the bald spots. I paid $ 75 for a refill after 3 weeks, which is a lot more than the place i’m going to now. Jessica uses very thick and cheap products and if you are into natural look, this is not the place to go to. What is most upsetting to me is her attitude. She was very rude and not accommodating someone who works full-​time. She was expecting me to get to the salon at 5pm sharp when my work was in Newport Beach and I get off at 4:30pm. She said I have a tight schedule, because I couldn’t go to see her during weekdays and working hours.
Her explanation for me losing lashes the day after refill was that I waited too long to go for a refill. PLEASE Jessica! I am in health field and know human anatomy & physiology in a lot more details than you. I know at what rate lashes grow and etc. Of course, I knew I will lose lashes once I get extensions. My own lashes were pretty long, I just didn’t have time to put on mascara daily. Now I have a lot of bald spots after going to her.
Now, not only my lashes look a lot more natural, but also a lot less expensive and much more accommodating salon. I go every 3 – 4 weeks, and I’m amazed how well they are turning out as oppose to my experience with Jessica.
I can see my own lashes are finally growing out (after 3 months), and filling some of the bald spots.
The first thing I was told in my new place is that do not brush! If your lashes do get stuck together, that’s because someone is using cheap product on you in the first place.

Jessica does amazing lashes! I’m extremely picking about my appearance and really needed someone who was detail oriented and could do a high quality job that would give lasting results. Jessica is amazing! She works wonders every day. I live about 30 minutes away from the shop on a good day (traffic wise), but i will never go to anyone else. She has been doing my lashes for about a year and a half and does a beautiful job. Even though there are businesses that perform lash extensions way closer to where I live, I would never trade. Jessica is a FABULOUS eyelash technician. I’m frequently asked about whether or not these lengthy lashes are mine, and I always answer with, «Well, they do belong to me.» Able to take me from modest maiden to Glam Goddess, I swear she finds lashes that aren’t even there. Also, something often overlooked in the beauty industry, Jessica is VERY professional, her station is always immaculate and she takes every precaution to make sure all of her tools are sanitized and ready go! I recommend her frequently (or at least when I’m willing to admit my lashes were bought… and not grown)!
