Love the store reasonable price

So years ago I absolutely loved this store. I even told everyone I knew that it was my favorite store to shop at until… I got screwed over by their ridiculous return/​exchange policy and horrible customer service.
When I went to the Brea store to exchange a dress (tags attached with receipt) I originally purchased at Mission Viejo, I was told by Evelyn that the exchange can only be done at the original location where the dress was purchased. Shocked by this, I asked if she could make an exception since NOWHERE on the receipt did it stipulate that in their return/​exchange policy. Evelyn said this wasn’t the first time this has happened with a customer and right then and there she called Francis, the manager at Mission Viejo to get approval on it but was denied.
Disgruntled, I made the trip back to Mission Viejo to now return the dress I no longer wanted to exchange. FRANCIS WAS RUDE and defensive when I questioned the return policy. As the manager, I found her utterly useless with regard to rectifying this customer service issue.
When I asked the store owner, KAY, why the receipts nor cashier placards do not specify returns or exchanges must be made only at the original purchasing site, she said her company is not technologically up to date (whatever that means). My question as a customer is, how is that my problem if you do not operate like every other current retailer out there who accepts returns and/​or exchanges at all store locations but would rather stick with your backwards policy? She then stated very matter of factly that «it is what it is» and no one in all the years they’ve been around has complained about this issue. Well, let me proudly be the first! YOUR POLICY SUCKS and you have POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
It is apparent that KAY stands more by her stupid return/​exchange policy rather than make things right for her customers. And stop blaring the Christian praise music in the store. You’re not fooling anyone since it is clear you treat customers with a judging eye and lack of sincerity. Bring back the good old days when Linda and Colbeigh were there! They upheld integrity in that store and treated the customers fairly! I was a loyal client for years but NEVER again!

I absolutely love this store, but unfortunately most of the things here are overpriced. I received two gift cards to Daisy Shoppe for Christmas and finally got the chance to use them! I’m most certain that I’d never purchase something from this shop if I didn’t have the gift cards. The first time I walked in the store, I immediately knew it was my kind of clothing. My favorite color pink is basically everywhere and I LOVE BOWS!!! Super cute stuff!!!
I read other reviews about how the service was terrible and they felt uncomfortable shopping here since the workers were watching their every move. I personally felt opposite of that. The workers here greeted me when I entered and asked me if I needed help finding anything! They also offered to hold my clothes for me when I was picking out a bunch! I’m pretty sure they aren’t racist too because my bf and I were the only asians in the store!!!
It’s truly wonderful to finally have a favorite clothing/​jewelry shop here in SoCal.

My daughters and I adore this shop. It’s always a must whenever we’re at that mall. Everything in it is so beautiful! Cute clothes, pretty jewelry and accessories. They also have nice gifts and home décor items. Normally I’ve found their sales associates very friendly and helpful. I don’t know if something has happened recently but today while I was there the vibe in the store was very different. One associate was policing the back of the store, literally standing there trying to act busy but clearly she was watching customers. It was very obvious. Another employee was following customers around the store. My daughter went to try on some clothes and I was just standing there on my phone waiting for her. The employee was literally standing behind me watching me. I felt like she was trying to read over my shoulder or something. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I would move a few feet away and she would follow! It was clear I wasn’t shoplifting or anything since I was just standing there checking my email and wasn’t even touching any merchandise. I don’t know what the deal was with this employee but it just really made me want to leave the store. Not sure if/​when I’ll return to the store. Hopefully the atmosphere will be friendlier then.

I was in the Mission Viejo store this morning and received terrible customer service. I was there on Sunday with my daughter because she had a gift card and wanted to use it since they were having a sale. I received a postcard in the mail advertising $ 5 off of $ 25 purchase, $ 10 off a $ 50 purchase and $ 20 off a $ 100. She forget her gift card so we asked if they would hold some clothes for us and I would be back the next day to purchase them. First of all the mgr. that helped me was unfriendly and rude but continued my purchase anyway. After I left the store I was looking over the receipt and noticed that she did not take the discount off my purchase. I thought it was just an oversight on her part, so went back in to get the discount. When I showed her the receipt and asked for the sale discount she said «you didn’t say you had a coupon» I asked why didn’t you ask for it, she replied «the owner doesn’t want us to ask». In other words send out a mailer to get customers in but don’t give them the discount. She wouldn’t give my the discount with out the coupon/​postcard. I didn’t know I needed the coupon to get the discount (I left it at home). She wanted me to go all the way home to get it, that ridiculous! especially since they have postcards in the store that she could have used. I was not going to drive all the way home for a postcard!!! I will NOT be shopping there anymore.

Came in here the day before Christmas to find a last minute Christmas gift. I was followed around the whole time I was in the store. I wasn’t asked if I needed help finding something, just followed. Finally I looked at her, rolled my eyes and walked out. I make more than everyone in the store combined, I wouldn’t be caught dead stealing. So insulting and embarrassing for this company.

Daisy Shoppe is my FAVORITE store ever! They have the cutest sweaters, skirts, and jewelry… and on top of that, they have adorable vintage signs — even for weddings. Wish I knew about this place when I got married… I would have bought everything from here!

This store is very quaint. There are a lot of very sweet and delicate looking articles of clothing and little trinkets. It’s very girly and a one stop shop for the girls in your life. The staff know how to cater and assist to every individuals’ needs and they really get the feel of a small town country home correct so they make you feel like you’ve stepped into some sort of enchanted place. It’s situated within a corporate mall with generic stores, but it’s very much a small treasure of a store that I highly recommend. It’s a little more on the boutique pricey end, but not too much that it will hurt your wallet. It is a very cute Daisy Shoppe for sure!

I agree with one of the other comments, these people are racist! The ladies who work here are outright RUDE! The #1 rule of retail is to greet a customer when they walk in the door. I’ve worked my fair share of retail so I know a thing or two about making customers feel welcome and that you appreciate their business. I’ve been to this store in the past so I knew about their lack of customer service, but today was something else. From the moment I walked in, no greeting. And they greeted everyone else behind me, so that gives me a clue that they actually KNEW how to say it. There was one lady that really kept an eye on me. I felt like she thought I would steal something. At one point I smiled and said hi and she kept looking at me and said nothing. I know she was doing her job, but there are ways to do your job and still make someone feel comfortable to keep shopping. In the end, I really felt uncomfortable so I just decided to leave. I don’t need to waste my money on a place like that. These people need to learn some customer service skills — I’ll leave it at that.

I absolutely love this store! They have the best taste in clothing and decorations.
I always go here first when looking for gifts for my girlfriends! Everything from adorable baby clothes, to cute coffee table books. They have absolutely everything! Im so obsessed I even follow their page on Instagram to see what new cute items they just get in :) The staff is always friendly and helpful. I know I’ll end up buying something amazing every time I go in. Definitely recommend this store.

They are VERY RUDE! Cheap product for high dollar. I went back to return some merchandise and asked for it back on my card, The clerk pointed to a frame that was behind three objects and said in a snobby voice, «It clearly states it here!» and pointed to the frame which I had to move from behind the other merchandise and pick up to read. It looked like something they were selling. Both skirts I’ve purchased are already looking old and coming apart. WILL NOT EVER BE SHOPPING HERE AGAIN! and I advise you not to as well.

Really cute! Has unique stuff for babies, home décor, wedding, and everyday. It’s a cute boutique that isn’t super over priced. I love it!

i love everything in this store– although i really hate the way the women in this store look at you like your stealing. they look so bored. theres nothing worse than having people breathe over you as you look and shop. i had a bunch of stuff i wanted to buy but got so frustrated i left it all! especially the woman with the angry look and fake tan! totally cold and unwelcoming employees

I am in LOVE with this store. The first time I went in I was just looking around but instantly knew that I would be right back!
They have adorable dresses/​clothes/​little gadgets. Lots of cute aprons and stuff to do with baking.
The items I have purchased here have been a black top that I have had an insane amount of compliments on.
I bought a sign that had a quote on it. pretty nice size, I bought a little box for my boyfriends watch that says «Love you to the moon & back» so adorable. Everything is really girly and super cute!
I’ve bought little décor pieces that I just LOVE.
The last time I went I found out they are opening up a bigger Daisy Shoppe which makes me super happy! Anyway, go and check it out but beware. you won’t leave without buying something!

Interesting store. Not sure if it is aimed more for interesting clothes, gadgets or just stuff.
Clothes are unique, a little over the top in some regards.

I love this store! It’s so cute, so feminine! It makes me want to get all dolled up everytime! The staff is very friendly and helpful and I NEVER fail to find what I’m looking for there (as well as a few things I wasn’t looking for). And it’s totally worth the price!
And they have CUTE aprons and AMAZING dresses! I’m in love.

This store is so cute! Everything is so girly and adorable, and there are a million dresses – youre sure to find one that you like! The consultants are so sweet and treat you like a girlfriend they are shopping with, but not in an overbearing or annoying way.
The only thing I don’t like about Daisy Shoppe is that they have a policy saying you can’t return dresses you buy from there– that’s a pretty big downside to me. I don’t return dresses often by any means, but it is really nice to have that comfort just in case. I would purchase so many more items there if they changed that – even if it was just to store credit only!

Pretty strange for a guy to be reviewing what’s obviously a shop tailored for girls/​women …
However, I have to say how impressed I am with the staff at the Mission Viejo location as it was from them and that store that I got the first gift I bought for a friend.
Due to my clumsiness, I accidentally broke her gift and the associates as well as the owner hunted high and low for a replacement however when they were unsuccessful, they repaired it for us. No charge!
Associates who offer service like this will get my business for life.

Once in a while, nestled between the chain stores and conglomerates is a gem of a shop which deserves special attention. Daisy Shoppe is that store.
What caught my eye was the feel of a vintage store (but everything’s NEW) when I walked by, so, I walked in. There are so many things you’ll find here. It’s a treasure trove of clothing, homeware, knick knacky items as well as beauty products from Crabtree & Evelyn. It’s easy to spend more than half an hour in there especially this time of year.
I didn’t want to just take my camera out and start snapping away so I asked one of the staff there if I could take a photo of the interior. She directed me to the owners who were behind the counter (that’s a plus in my book because it means they are hands on). At first they were skeptical (they’d never heard of Unilocal before — sheesh!) and asked for a card. Hmmm… I had my Unilocal ELITE card with me but that was it. I thought «well this is too much trouble» so I started to say «forget it», but then one of the owners asked if there was a website and she just wanted to check it out really quickly. I thought, sure, this gives me more time to browse.
I was browsing around the store and a few minutes later, one of the owners came over and said «sure go ahead, it looks really cool» (well, Unilocal IS COOL) so I took my camera out and snapped an interior shot.
It is really nice to know that there are still charming stores like this one in the middle of a mall owned by real people and not a huge corporation!
