I cancelled my last appointment because the area is really shady and scary looking. It’s taking my doctor forever to get me another referral so I’m giving this place another shot, hopefully I don’t get shot. I’ll update my review after my appointment.

The will give you an appointment they they take you in 1 hour after your appointment time they are rude and unfriendly 15 other people had the same appointment tune as us!!!

I was given a referral to come here and my experiences are always the same from this place. Whenever I call, they always put me on a long hold, the last hold that I was on was for 20 minutes. I understand that this is a busy place but hire some more receptionists, maybe? There was also an incident where I called and made an appointment, but a month later and 2 days before my appointment date, my appointment was cancelled. I could not call back because they called me 2 minutes before they had closed and called me on a Friday and they are closed on the weekends. I lost my appointment and had to go to my primary doctor and ask what had happened. The nurses at my doctor’s called and said that since the dermatologist hadn’t seen me for a year so they thought that I went AWOL. So they automatically thought that my referral was expired, although when I called to make the appointment I had a new referral. What they could have done in this situation was call me ahead of time and ask me whether or not I had a new referral, and maybe not call me 2 minutes before they closed on Friday.
The doctor is nice though. The people there are generally nice to me so I really have no problem with the people but with the way things are done.

My primary care doc sent me here on a referral for mole check. He really liked and recommended this place. Don’t be fooled by the outer appearance of the building. The parking lot is small and the building is very old and has that ‘county building’ look. On first appearance, I was thinking ‘oh, here we go’ But I was very pleasantly surprised. The receptionist was super friendly. I was a new patient and with filling out paperwork and a packed waiting room, I only waited 15 min to be called in and another maybe 10 min to be seen. This place is a well oiled machine. A lot of patients but they are staffed and keep the patient flow going. I would guess they pay their employees well by their attitudes, they seem happy. Everyone was professional looking, acting and friendly. Nice modern décor in the bathroom and exam rooms. Super nice doctor, (not Dr. Lusher, forgot his partner’s name) who took his time and explained everything to me. I’ll be back for a biopsy so I will update after that visit. Today’s visit gets a stellar 5 stars!

I hear it all the time, but this time I’m saying it… If I could give zero stars I would.
This review doesn’t reflect the actual doctors as I haven’t ever seen them. I couldn’t get past the incompetent and rude office staff. In particular the receptionist Denise.
The first time I went into the office was to have a suspicious looking spot removed. However, there was a mix up with my insurance and they would not do any procedures. What was I here for if not to have a procedure done to remove this spot? So they give me another appointment more than a month away. I ask if my insurance is going to be a problem. They say no. That they will get all the approvals they need before my appointment. Remember, they have more than a month to do it.
So that brings me to yesterday, the day before the big appointment… I called the office just to make super sure that we’re not going to have any problems. The lady says no problems! Your insurance is good!! Come on in tomorrow!
I take the morning off of work and am driving to my appointment which let me add, is a good 30 minutes away from my house. And I get a call from the doctors office that they are canceling my appointment because there is a problem with my insurance!!! I tell them that I am already on my way so they say come in we’ll see y
So I am standing in the office while they try to straighten this situation out.
This office needs to hire people that are capable of doubt their jobs. They had over a month to determine weather or not they would accept my insurance. I called the day before to be sure and all was good. So why am I here being told that they won’t see me???
Do yourself a big favor, and don’t come to this office. It’s old and crappy and the people are so incompetent and rude.
And If by chance Dr. Lusher is reading this, you should really get rid of Denise. She told me herself that it is her that checks to see if the insurance will be accepted and she didn’t do mine until late yesterday. Why did she wait till the last minute to do it when she had over a month?
This has been such a big inconvenience to me not to mention that I am missing work and not getting paid. And as a single mother I can’t afford to be put out like this.

Was given a referral here through my primary Dr to check my old skin cancer scar. I also ha a new red growth growing on my face, I wanted to have checked. Office is small, but fairly busy. I waited 30 mins to be seen. The Dr and staff are nice. The Dr spent a total of 2 mins with me. He looked at the spot on my face and checked my back and said everything was good! Then said see you in a year! I wish they could spend more than a couple mins with you after waiting, but I guess when you have crappy HMO, its how it goes! Parking is free, and easy. The office is right past Sepulveda.
