The only good thing about Dr. Kossari is he gives you an appointment quickly. If you are looking for a caring doctor, then go elsewhere. If expect to have your questions answered, he will do that about 50% of the time or less. When asking for specifics on different treatments he’ll tell you to read about it, since the literature is out there. If you insist, his nurse will write the names of the alternative procedures so you educate on your own. I changed Gynecologists right away. You need to remind them to respect HIPAA rules. The clinic itself is also a dissapointment, water marks on the ceiling, bad air conditioning, tiny rooms, and small parking.

Wish I can give him 0 stars worst place ever turn back they have a clinic on Osborne and Woodman worst place you can ever go to they don’t care about the patient was going there since I was 2 months pregnant — 5 months pregnant and saw the doctor once and they would do their job wrong switch clinics and the first day I went to the new clinic they found out I was anemic and high risk funny how this clinic never told me anything about that and only promise me to ultrasounds when I was already 5 months my ultrasounds were already up and said I wasn’t getting any more when I read the rules Medical offers you for guaranteed ultrasounds this place was the worst they don’t know how to do their job and worst customer service and service ever so glad I switched

This doctor is very bad he doesn’t listen to his patients i keep asking him if he can give me this medicine he changes subject and talks about something else jesus how can a doctor be so careless about his patients he can only get money from the insurance and do a falsely job it’s not fair i will email the board of gynecologist and tell them my situation about sean kossari

I truly love this office Dr. Kossari is very quick and efficient and answers all my questions. His staff is fantastic, Angela has been my stand out girl helping me with everything all the time, I make her do extra work unfortunately lol but she never hesitates to help out every time I call in. All the other MA’s r fantastic as well. And all u other patients complaining about the wait, u wait at every doctors office no matter what! So get over it!

I got assigned to Dr. Kossari 4 years ago for my son. Best experience ever. He answered any and all questions I had. Took all the precautions with my family history. He was awesome in the labor room. Now fast forward to now. I changed my insurance just to have him. I would not trust any one else to care for me and deliver my baby. People are complaining about wait times and other issues. Sure your going to wait at any good OBGYN, ever think that he was delivering a baby and that’s why he might be late?. I have never sat for long and he has always been great.

I can honestly say that Dr. Kossari is an amazing Dr. He was my ob when I was pregnant with my daughter and he has seen 2 of my sister in law and we can all say he’s awesome

I love this doctor! Please don’t listen to the bad reviews he is an amazing doctor and the clinic may not look great from the outside but when you go inside its clean and the staff is so nice they really try to get to know you its a little bit of a wait but much faster then other clinics and its worth it great doctor and nurses they are all so patient and kind especially for first time moms !

This doctor is one of the best doctors I’ve been seen him for 14 years and I would refer every single one of my friends to him I don’t know what other people are talking about specially when they haven’t seen the doctor at all or having been under his care I don’t think it’s fair to discriminate somebody that you haven’t seen before so I don’t know what you guys are talking about first go see him then write a review and see if you still at your original opinion about the doctor. It’s because of this Dr that I have my second son so don’t you dare every single one of you say anything bad about him

This is my first pregnancy and I was referred to Dr. Kossari by my regular OB because I am high risk. Yes, the office is in a strip mall, fairly small, and often pretty crowded, but I always show up on time for my appointments and have never had to wait longer than 15 minutes to be seen. He always takes time to answer my questions and concerns and I don’t feel rushed. He is very straight forward and does not sugar coat any issues or possible concerns, which I appreciate, but I can understand some people may be too sensitive for the way he talks. All the nurses are nice and professional. I have never had difficulty making appointments and even when I had to reschedule last minute they were able to squeeze me in.

Dr. Kossari is the BEST, don’t listen to the bad reviews. He delivered my first baby a few months ago and made me feel very comfortable, especially during labor. He answered all of my husband and my questions and concerns during our prenatal visits and even visited us before we left the hospital. His staff is very friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an OB GYN.

I wanted to see this doctor in his Van Nuys office because it is closer to my home. This doctor is never available in that office. I don’t know why does he keep it if he will not be there. Anyway, because I needed an annual exam I agreed to see his assistant. I go to the office Friday and they tell me that the Physicians Assistant had an emergency and is not there. They suggest I go back Monday which I did. But guess who I was seen by. By the nurse. They asked me to take a urine sample and gave me a Styrofoam cup. I was shocked. Really? You don’t have a proper medical cup with cover? Comes out they do you just have to ask for it. Anyways I don’t think I want to go back to this clinic.

This was my first visit with him and I can assure you the last. He is so rude walks in and out with out acknowledging that his patients are there. Doesn’t give you the chance to ask questions. He got upset at his assistant for asking if I wanted an STD test. In his words «wait until they ask!» Very professional? The front office forgot to give me the registration forms I had to ask and offer to pay my co pay.

The worst obgyn doctor I have ever had. First you can not talk to the doctor on the phone if you have a question. Second he is never on time for his patient appointments. Third, they send you to another office when they dont have paperwork at the other one. Finally the straw that broke the camael back was when he came in to the room and he asked us who are you and why are we in the exam room, even thought he was the one to scheduled the follow. then the exam took 2 minutes however it was 1 hour after my sceduled appointment. He would have received negative stars if it was possible.

The receptionists have no idea what they are doing. They pick up the phone as you why you are calling then out you on hold and when they get back on the phone they ask you why you are calling again like it’s their first time talking to you. And that’s only if you’re lucky enough for them to answer the phone. Last week I had to keep calling over and over again and when someone picked up she put me on hold for 14 minutes! Then I hung up and called back and she put me on hold again and when it got to 6 minutes I hung up and decided to go online and do some research on this place. Not to my surprise they have terrible reviews with people warning that the doctor is horrible and vulgar. I found a new doctor who has great reviews and definitely would warn anyone to stay away from this place. Do your research before booking an appointment.

This Dr is trash! He was referred to me by my co-​worker. I didn’t even get to meet him until my 27^th week!!! Meeting him for the first time was the worse experience I’ve had with any doctor. I showed nothing but kindness, patience and respect (regardless of all of the incorrect blood results, waiting countless hrs and them rescheduling my appointments). I expected at least an introduction from him, but I had to read his name to find out for sure if he was the OB. He wouldn’t even look at me when he spoke nor did he answer my questions, all he said was «Figure it out yourself» this is my first pregnancy and I wanted to have a good experience but he ruined it and caused me sooo much stress.
Do not go to this man, he is insensitive, rude and full of himself!

Horrible! Both of his offices are pretty bad but the worst was the mission hills office. Waiting room is way too small and the receptionists are not very friendly. I transferred my prenatal care to Kossari and was truly disappointed. I took in my records from my previous doctor and it seems he never even looked at it. I had gestational diabetes and I had to remind him every time I saw him! Every appointment that I got to see him he literally spent less than a minute in the room. Waited for him for 3 hours just to see him for less than a minute! He always seemed to be in a rush. It just seemed as if he didn’t care for me as his patient. WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO DR KOSSARI!

This Doctor is terrible! I needed to find a new OB as my insurance had changed and was booked an appt. for a Friday. Got a call the day before to reschedule because the dr. was leaving early. Booked for the following Friday and the SAME thing happened again! After a few meetings to discuss my condition we had surgery booked and guess what he did 2 days before my scheduled surgery on a Friday? He rescheduled because he decided to take that day off. What a jerk! This guy has lost all credibility with me and I highly recommend finding another doctor. No way do I trust him to perform surgery on me!

Dr Kossari is the best! He delivered my first and only baby girl about a year and a half ago and I couldn’t be any happier to have found him! He is caring, thorough, professional and extremely down to earth. I was so paranoid my entire pregnancy and asked a million questions and not once did he disregard my concerns, he always addressed them fully and gave me extremely detailed answers.
As far as my delivery, the best experience! I was scared as it was my first pregnancy, but he made it so easy for my husband and I. He is very pleasant and easy to get along with, but takes his job very seriously and I completely trusted him without a doubt during my delivery which I think is one of the most important qualities in an OB/​gyn. I highly recommend Dr. Kossari!

Amazing Staff, Great people and Awesome Dr. They show to care for their patient and listen to whatever concern the patient has. Not just a number to Dr. Kossari, but a real patient/​person to whom he shows to care for. I really appreciate that from him and the staff. ***************Thank You******************
