Just another gas station with inflated gas prices, perpetuating our petrol addiction. Better bathrooms would serve me, but I guess I’m special.

If you get off the 118 west and turn left, the gas station is right there on your right. It’s clean, brightly lighted, and open 24 hours. Only downside is that there is no car wash. There is a squeegee at every pump though. Every time I come here, trash cans are empty and squeegee water is full. There was one time the guy had dumped all the water out right when I got there but filled one up for me right away, no problem when I asked. He also went and got me more paper napkins to wipe down my car. Note: Don’t try to wash your whole car with a squeegee… it only makes it worse. That guy was kind enough to help me fix my mess though. Plus there isn’t a screaming homeless man shouting obscenities randomly and at no particular person.(cough, cough, arco)

I’ve always had weird experiences at this location. I can’t count the number of times I have shown up(afte 8PM) and the pumps are out of order, aren’t accepting cards, or the station is just closed. Once in the middle of pumping gas, the attendent just shut off all the pumps and asked me to leave. I had no idea why and wasn’t given a reason either. I was the only one at the gas station and I was just standing next to my car waiting for my tank to fill up. However, the prices are surprisingly average for being right off of a freeway.

This place usually has a good price that is definitely on the lower end for LA gas stations. It’s just off the 405 freeway so it’s easy access and makes for a quick pit stop.
