Windsor Park Conference Center

I’ve been here many times for business meetings and everything has always been great. The food and service have always been great and the place is always nicely decorated. My only complaint is that the audio could use a little improving.

We decided to do my brother’s wedding reception at Windsor Park with Rita and want to share our experience to prevent others from making a similar mistake. The service was blatantly bad (except for one person Jackie who was kind and helpful).
— Rita was late/​absent to meetings with no apology
— Unless there was a MAJOR misunderstanding, Rita’s team was supposed keep the dishes stocked and respond nicely to guest requests/​questions– basic expectations for a place that hosts wedding receptions. Based on our event today, it appears that we were not on the same page.
— Most importantly, Rita’s attitude was terrible. Rita and her staff acted unprofessionally to such a degree that numerous guests told us that they were rude to them. It is really embarrassing to host an event where you and your guests are disrespected.
Overall, Windsor Park has a great location and nice ambience. Given the limited options in the area, we expected a high price. We willingly paid, expecting the service to match the price. When the event came around, we were extremely disappointed with Rita’s attitude.
Whether the planner/​staff is friendly can make or break an event. Sadly, we don’t have another chance to redo my brother’s wedding reception –but for those looking, we suggest looking for a place that cares more about you and your guests.

Never in my life have I been treated more rudely than by the management here. Rita and Marcus were like the couple on the Kitchen Nightmares episode about Amy’s Bakery Company (look it up – I’m not joking). We were told «turn the music off, otherwise these people will never get the hell out of here,» and we were actually physically threatened. The staff was great, but was treated horribly by the managers. Please don’t reward these people’s behavior. It is an injustice that they are succeeding in life.
