Great restaurant, but since two years ago it is not open to the public. Bummer! It serves breakfast for the staff and students of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts School from 7 – 9:30 am and lunch from 12 – 2 pm. I tried the turkey and cheese panini and it was good. I hope they open it to the public in the near future. The restaurant has great potential. I dined there 2.5 years ago and had an amazing five course meal with my parents.

This is my second time visiting Le Cordon Bleu’s restaurant… first time being a year ago and then today’s visit. The concept is straight forward. This is a cooking school’s restaurant. Students prepare, cook, and serve a meal in a restaurant setting. Currently, the menu is set up for three courses for $ 16. You can bring your own wine to dinner, so makes for a wonderfully inexpensive date night. Tonight, my husband ordered the seafood salad, the steak and veggies, and key lime pie. His salad was presented very nicely, the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the pie was to die for. I ordered the scallop risotto, pork tenderloin and veggies, and chocolate pecan bars with ice cream. My risotto was served at way too hot of a temperature so it took a while before I could consume it, but the seafood was cooked beautifully. My pork was succulent and the dessert was well done too. Minor technical difficulties such as we weren’t served any bread like the other tables, there was a slight delay between our order and the appetizers being brought out, but all in all, a great meal. It is nice to see the knife skills and plating skills of the students and the instructor/host keeps the restaurant running smoothly. It is definitely an interesting experience and worth the price.
