SGO Advisory is a firm of highly qualified accountants and business consultants located in Miami, Florida. Our firm’s directors have over 75 years of combined experience, including having worked at several of the largest and most respected CPA firms in the world. Since early 2000, our firm has been serving privately held small and mid-​sized businesses in effective accounting, tax, and business administration (business strategy, planning, improvement, merger and acquisitions). Our firm also provides financial immigration consulting services for those seeking business investor visas or green-​card residency (EB-​5) in the United States.

History

Established in 2005.

Our firm’s executives each have over 25 years’ of client serving experience, including over 15 years’ experience in several of the largest and most respected CPA firms in the world. While working at these firms, our executives served with many large multi-​national Fortune 500 organizations, and acquired a deep level of appreciation and understanding of establishing quality client relations and levels of service.

After leaving these firms in early 2000, Albert M Silva, our firm’s founder, started his firm on the premise that quality client relations and levels of service should not just be reserved for larger corporations, but should also be provided to small and mid-​sized businesses.

Business Owner

lbert is a director of our firm, and possesses more than 30 years’ experience. He started his career upon graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Public Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Pace University in New York City.

During the first 18 years of his career, Al worked as auditor and consultant in the practices of Ernst & Young, Coopers & Lybrand, and Price Waterhouse, several of the largest and most respected CPA firms in the world. He ascended at these firms to the positions of Senior Manager, Business Process Improvement Consulting, and Director of Finance, Latin America Consulting.

During his career, Al served clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, franchises, real estate development and construction, banking, insurance, hospitality, and government. Clients he served ranged in size from entrepreneurial start-​ups to Fortune 100 organizations.
