At the end of the day (week month months…), my windows and doors WERE installed and finished to a satisfactory level, so technically I can’t say any thing bad here.

Horrible customer service and compensation when things go wrong.
I contracted this company in June to replace 2 windows and 1 door as a test to see how they operated and the quality of their personnel. The salesperson did a great job setting the appointment, going over product information and taking my order. My order was for my entire home which is 11 windows and 2 doors. I went with a recommended window maker CGI. Definitely not the cheapest impact window on the market so my expectations were high. Windows were installed 1 month since order was made, they forwarned me of this so it was not an issue. What came next was the issue. Both windows that were installed were severly dented and in poor shape. The door was just as bad. Scratches, hinge made noise and entry trim was loose. Was this the quality craftsmanship of a top level window manufacturer??? the installation was equally horrible, caulking was uneven and appeared like a 5^th grader applied. Door trim was oozing caulking for days… yes days, I have picures. I come to find out later the caulk they used was the incorrect one.
I called and complained, a few days later a repair man comes to see the work, he was equally speechless and agreed the install was poorly done. He does his best to cover the scratches on the aluminum windows with spray paint and redo some of the caulking. As for the dents he says there is nothing that could be done there. He offered me $ 400 off per window however with a bill of $ 5k I found that to be insulting. I simply wanted what I paid for, a good product and install.
I am told a supervisor Tim would call me within the week for details on how and when the windows will be replaced. A week and half later no call, nothing so I call him. He advises they are going to replace the frames however they will take a few weeks to make. I am concerned and ask will the window integrity be the same, he assures me they reglaze windows all the time and it will be just as good as new. He was also going to send 2 «senior, experienced» installers. Well they did send 3 installers, one of which was on the first bad install, another that probably started that same day and a third that spoke like he knew what he was doing. After about 30 minutes I keep hearing light chatter and a heat gun going off. then all of a sudden CRACK!!! yep, the reglazing that is so standard didn’t go as planned. The window cracked. they looked at each other saying in spanish «I don’t know why they wanted us to do this, this is harder than installing windows from scratch, I have never done this…» Trying to be respectful (being fluent in spanich) and not go off on them, I ask, ok so what is next. They say they are going to take pictures (they did) and have a manager call me back to let me know how they are going to fix it. 2 weeks go by and no call.
I call the office and speak with Gabriel, he advises that he will find out what is going on and call me back. A week goes by and nothing… I then take it on myself to call again and see whats going on… Today ⁹⁄₁₄ I speak with a female representative and she advises that Tim has ordered the windows for you and will call you back with a timeframe, as of now I am exhausted from chasing this company… lets see when I get this call if ever… ohh and let me not forget to mention they have not repaired the hinge on the door, loose trim. The oozing has stopped on its own.
After 3 going on 4 months I would like what I paid for and some financial compensation for the time I have lost taking off of work to be here for the installation. To date I have missed 3 days of work which is $ 1200 financial loss.

A nightmare from day one! I got 4 estimates, they seemed to be the best option :(
I had only 2 windows to replace in a condo. First THEY LIE, about everything. The sales person did, but I thought she just was incompetent. She didn’t mention the right specifications of the glass, so the condominium association first rejected it. I called her several times, she never returned my calls, she didn’t write my address correctly (which is different from the place where they were to be installed). You speak with different persons, not having ONE to be in touch with.
They called me several times to ask me why I had not signed and mailed the permit back … just because they never sent it to me! It seems that the right hand has no idea of what the left one is doing. Or they just don’t care. I tried to be in touch with a so-​called manager (Alex), I have no idea who he is, but didn’t do anything.
It took them more than 3 months to get the windows (they have no control on the manufacturer… err… maybe they should switch) and I couldn’t get a date. I thought that would be better when I got in touch with a… super-​manager? (Liz) LOL! She emailed me several times but didn’t give me the correct info. She was supposed to call me early the morning the windows arrived, she didn’t. I need an hour and a half to get there, the installers called me when they go there :(:(:(. At least, they have been very well installed (otherwise, I would give zero star).
The next nightmare was for the inspection. I finally had it done, but nobody came from the company. They were supposed to clean up the windows when everything is finished, so they didn’t. And I don’t want more headaches.
I absolutely recommend everyone to go elsewhere.

We only had 2 windows and 2 doors that needed to be replaced on a house we just bought. We had 3 contracted jobs going on at once and somehow this tiny job took far longer than any other. They had wrong parts delivered and the replacement took weeks. Staff never mentioned that the factory took almost a month off work in December and had a long January back up. They didn’t turn in the permit application until about a month after we hired them. I’m still cleaning broken glass out of our back yard from their demolition of a tiny bathroom window. The inspector had to do significant work to fix the installation issues (eg. windows getting stuck, doors not shutting all the way) and we still haven’t received a screen for one of the windows because it also, «wasn’t delivered by the factory, but we’ll order it today,» (that was weeks ago). This company was a headache, to the point we delayed moving because they didn’t finish the job. The windows and doors look nice enough but I would look for a different company next time.
