I’ve been coming to this place since I was 14 and I’ve always loved coming. The front desk worker has always been so nice and yes, she has her two dogs in the front but I believe that is a really cool thing. The dogs really put a smile on your face unless you’re not an animal lover. If you’re not, it’s good to know that they are very well trained but don’t expect for them not to act like the animal they are. So barking is to be expected. The doctor is a bit quiet but he does his job and he does it well. If you’ve never been here you must know it is a bit of a calm work place and you go in and out. They’re really well organized and have always called when my glasses are ready. Now that I am am adult I still go back. It’s a place I grew to really love. It’s all in what the person likes and how they see the way they work. Either they are too calm and rushed or where as for me, they are very polite, organized, and do their job like they’re suppose to.

Is this place still in buiz? Unilocal flagged my FIRST review as FAKE but I am sooo real! Here is my long awaited update. My older daughter needed glasses per her «school», so I took her here for an exam and glasses. My younger daughter was there and not yet in public school, I wanted to just check out her eye sight. They told me she needed glasses! About one year later I get a paper from her school that she has ²⁰⁄₂₀ VISION!!! WHAT A BUNCH OF LIARS WORKING HERE TO LIE TO YOU TO PURCHASE EYE GLASSES! I am a REAL REVIEW and I hope Unilocal does not flag me AGAIN AS FAKE.

WORST BUSINESS EVER. New to the area and chose this office based on my insurance and convenince of being near my house. HORRIBLE service. The doctor seemed rushed and not wanting to be bothered with questions. Told me eye drops WITHOUT preservatives were best but gave me a sample WITH preservatives.
Now to the assitant TRACY… rude, pushy and money hungry. Tried to upsell on eveything. My prescription ended up being wrong because she doesn’t know how to stay in her pay grade and realize that she is not the doctor. Ended up fradulently charging both mine and my husband’s insurance. When I called her out on it she had the claim reversed for the insurance that paid the least for the exams and not the I.sura.ce I instructed her to use. Needless to say they will now get $ 0 after I alerted our insurance companies.

Terrible! I will never go back here. I get one visit a year and this was wasted. The Dr. was a rushed, condescending jerk. I asked about my eyes watering for no reason and he told me it was my glasses, even though my new rx is very close to my old one. One month later, no call that my glasses are in, so I guess Ill stop by as I’m sure they’ve been there for weeks. Really poor quality service! I live in Corona anyway so if anyone has a good referral for an eye Dr. by the ¹⁵⁄₉₁ intersection, thank you!

This office is awesome… They had many good frame selections and hard to find such office in town. Lady who works in front office is so helpful and very care and friendly person… Very good heart and sweet looking lady. She is really walk me through with my financial arrangement and very good pick on frame fit my face profile. I got lot compliment on the frame she picked for me. She let me picked lots of choice and able to help me just a click. She is so helpful to this office. Dr Vinnie is very nice and would able to answer all my questions. Prescription he gave me was so perfect and very good quality lens. i am so happy with my progressive lens… I hardly have any problem with this lens and it is crisper clear. and easy to clean… I am really love it & would highly recommend to visit this office…

Pushy & unprofessional. I paid a co-​pay when I took my eye exam. I needed to go back to drop off my frames to change out my lens & she wanted to charge me again when I returned. They kept insisting I purchase new frames, because my insurance covers a portion. I told them the frames I purchased there originally were nicer than what they currently had & in perfect condition. I told her to return my glasses & did not pay the 2^nd co-​pay. I would not recommend this place.

OMG I should of read all these horrible reviews before taking my 3 little boys. I had the worse experience with the lady working the front desk & the actual eye doctor. It smelled like urine in the office & was messy. The doctor was extremely rude & has no communication skills when speaking to a patient. And to top it off the lady at the front desk dropped a mirror on my 3yr old son’s face causing a deep scratch on his nose. I will be making some phone calls to make sure matters are taken care of. This office is a mess & the doctor should get her license pulled. Having 2 dogs in a doctors office is extremely insanitary especially if they are peeing on the floor… I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK this office was a joke

You are not going to believe this. I came here to purchase my «Versace» prescription glasses and sunglasses. Well, I was about to pay my balance after the insurance coverage when I noticed the inside of the «Versace» frame said PRADA and the outside of the glasses had the medusa with the zwavorsky crystals. I couldn’t believe it! I asked the lady that was helping me if they are genuine glasses and she responded with «what you mean». I said are your frames real, she said «of course, they are made only in Italy». I told her, can you explain the inside of the glasses, it says PRADA and the outside it has the Medusa. She blamed the manufacturer…“whatever”. I took a picture when she was yelling in chinese to someone on the phone, mind you she had her 2 yorkies yapping. I’m upset because she has been billing insurance companies and my community. PLUS, they have been receiving frames made in China instead of Italy. I have nothing against things made in china… but that was really un cool!
I have the picture to prove it… I still can’t be it!!!

Horrible! Shady Shady Shady! Don’t go to these people if you want a quality if not half decent examination.
Vinnie Tieu is rude, does not provide quality patient care and is in business to con patients. They withheld our prescription so that they can try to sell their contacts to us from their store. They lied and told us that you must use your insurance allowance to purchase lenses from their store. Big time ILLEGAL! Insurance fraud! Stay away from these sleaze balls! Lady in front does not know what she’s talking about! And what is up with the dog in the office? Unprofessional and unsanitary!

Owners are very pushy to sell the high end frames. As the previous two reviewers explained, if the owners don’t feel you’ll buy their frames, they won’t even bother helping you. You’re better off going to Lens Crafters as they have their seasonal deals all throughout the year. Pushy owners/​salesmen; Over-​priced frames; Expensive eye exams; You won’t see me EVER coming back to this place.

The man does not care for the customers and is only concerned in the money, which he clearly shows. Another downside is his merchandise such as, contacts and glasses, are sold ridiculously high, you are better off going to Costco.

I went here with my boyfriend to buy glasses over the holidays. Dr. Vinnie Tieu was helpful, and although he was a bit too eager about selling us a pair of frames, we still had a good experience with him. We decided to think about the estimates he gave and come back.
The next time I went back I was helped by the lady that works there (I’m not sure if she is Dr. Tieu’s wife or not). It was definitely NOT a good experience. She was pushy, rude, refused to give me the model number for the frames, and seemed annoyed when I asked her to write down the estimates she gave me so that I could compare them at home with others… she was even hesitating on that one.
Although I shouldn’t have, I went back in one last time a few weeks later to show my boyfriend the frames I thought he might like. She gave me a different, higher price (seemed made up) for those same frames, and when I proceeded to tell her that we had seen them cheaper someplace else, she told us to just go buy it there.
I’m giving them two stars because they actually do have a good selection of frames, although they’re a bit pricey. However, I will not go back again as long as that lady is working there.
