Rossman Plumbing

Rossman Plumbing is all about quality, and all at a fair price. I recently got estimates to install a new faucet for my kitchen. Some of the bids were way off, and entailed taking out the kitchen sink along with further intrusive work. Frustrated, I just stopped looked around. However, after recent work on a leak was completed by Rossman Plumbing, I decided to have Steve S. from Rossman Plumbing install the kitchen faucet. He was not only quick and competent, but the price was over 20% of cost of some of the prior estimates. Steve S. also installed a new toilet valve. Once again, great work at a great price.
Steve S. has great craftsmanship, was on time for the appointment, and was courteous throughout the entire process. Steve S. and Rossman Plumbing have completely taken the stress out of my plumbing problems, and all without breaking my wallet. Thank you again Steve S. and Rossman Plumbing.

Water heater went out on a sunday!!! needed the whole thing replaced =(. We called around a few places and they wanted to charge an extra fee just because it was sunday!!. I found Rossman Plumbing on a group site on Facebook. He had great referrals. I called him and he sent out an employee within 45 mins. No Sunday fee and they were the lowest bid by almost half the prices quoted! They explained everything in detail and what our best options are. They made a stressful situation an easy fix. I really had the impression that they were going to do everything they could to help us get it replaced. the employees worked a clean work station. there was no cleaning up after their mess. very professional. I feel great about using them and defiantly will call them again for any other plumbing needs.

I had a wall leak. 4 bids and Rossman was the lowest bid by far. Steven S. came promptly to my location, assessed the damage, and provide me with all of my options, including what was the best option if he were locate further damage or if further repairs were necessary.
Steve S. went above and beyond. He was able to hook up the water heater away from the damage, so that we would not be without hot water while the water damage was restored. Professional and highly competent, I was impressed to see first hand his skills of not only repairing the damage, but also explaining how the water heater, gas, piping, and cold water line all interact. Steve S. was able to answer ALL of my questions with a straight forward and accurate answer, so that I was able to get a grasp of the situation, front/​back/​left/​right, and so forth.
The quality of the job was excellent, and Steve S. was adamant that he would not put his name behind questionable work product, and it showed. Steve S. made an otherwise highly stressful situation into a learning experience. I enjoyed his positive attitude and demeanor, and he showed that no matter how difficult a situation may appear at first, there is a solution and a way to get to the solution, and to never give up. I had a slab leak which can be a nightmare. I got three bids and Rossman was the lowest and $ 500 less than the highest. Tim came out and explained what was wrong and what was needed to repair it. He was the most knowledgeable of the three and a straight shooter.
First class professional and good communicator so I knew he was the right choice. He and a helper came out the next day and worked hard all day to re-​route the plumbing through the walls and ceiling. The workmanship was top notch and although it was dusty and messy cutting drywall, they covered everything, swept up everthing and carried out all the trash when they left. Sorry to see a couple of negative complaints but my experience was very different — top quality for a good price.

Rossman plumbing came out because I had a problem with the back yard drains. The first hard rains of El Nino my backyard looked like a pool they put a camera in there and found the drain. It was under six inches of mud and two inches of grass. They cleared out the drain, installed a new cap so it would not happen again and my drainage system works great now. They worked quickly, showed up on time, got the job done and after they cleaned up after themselves perfectly. I would recommend and will be using them again if I have any other plumbing problems. Mike S., Steve S. and Richard came delivered professional service. If you call this company, you will not be disappointed.

Had Michael out to look at an issue, fixed it fast and did a great job. They checked other issue for me and gave me good feedback, will be using them on all jobs in the future!

Awful, awful service. I cannot stress this enough — DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They WILL rip you off. Maybe not on purpose, but definitely because they are not knowledgeable enough about their own profession.
We recently had work done on our roof and unbeknownst to us, the roofer’s truck had rolled over our front lawn, causing one of the sprinklers to break and leak. This caused the city to shut down our water until the issue was fixed.
Unfortunately, we do not live in this house so we had to rely on a plumber to correctly identify the issue and get the water back on as soon as possible. Even more unfortunate is that we called Rossman Plumbing.
Eddie came and instead of correctly identifying that the issue was just a sprinkler leak, he decided to charge us $ 2,500 to change the ENTIRE main line of the house. He talked about breaking the cement and all sorts of nonsense because according to him, there was no way of identifying where the leak was coming from.
Trusting that he knew what he was talking about, we agreed to his terms and told him to proceed. But unfortunately again, he STILL couldn’t do his job and kept calling and wanting to increase the price for additional work.
My poor dad decided to drive down from NorCal, where we currently live, to SoCal the next day to address the issue in person.
Eddie was rude and defensive, not letting my dad get in a single word. When my dad saw the situation for himself, he kept asking Eddie to start where the broken sprinkler was, but Eddie kept refusing and raising his voice. At one point, he even threatened to lock the entire water source to the house so our tenants would be left without water indefinitely.
Things got messy and my dad was forced to call 911 to stop Eddie from shutting down the water completely. A police officer came and even HE sided with my dad. So Eddie FINALLY decided to listen to him and start with the sprinkler.
Low and behold… that was the issue!
So what could have only cost us less than a hundred dollars ended up costing us a whopping TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS. All because Eddie is NOT qualified to do his job. He was even asking my dad which main pipe to connect to because he couldn’t tell the different ones apart. My dad isn’t a plumber but he figured the one with the red handle and date had to be the one… why couldn’t Eddie do that if his JOB is plumbing!!!
My dad paid him the full amount he promised because he is a man of his word. But be warned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want fast, EFFICIENT service from KNOWLEDGEABLE, honest servicemen.

It is sad you cannot accept responsibility for what happened and are trying to discredit me and my dad’s honest reviews of our awful experience with your company. Yes, my dad doesn’t have any Unilocal ‘friends’ because he does not Unilocal — he solely made an account to warn others of your bad service… that’s how bad you were.
I didn’t even mention the fact that these guys give discounts for good reviews so not even the good ones can be trusted. They originally wanted to charge us $ 2,700 but said they’d drop to $ 2,500 in exchange for a good review.

Great job from Rossman Plumbing Mike S and Richard finally got a clogged drain unclogged. I have had three plumbers out that could not get this done and told me I would have to jack hammer the foundaton etc. They suggested hydro jetting and it worked. THANK YOU. WOULD RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE.

I called Matthew yesterday to get help with a problematic toilet. Rossman Plumbing is the third plumbing company I’ve had try to fix the problem. Matthew was very courteous and sent Mike and Steve out today. They wore protective booties, were very courteous, and fixed the toilet within 5 minutes. They also checked the water pressure on the house to rule out any additional issues. I am recommending Rossman Plumbing to everyone-​what a relief to find an honest and efficient plumbing company!

Horrible service!!! If you are looking for someone for doing simple & good service and don’t make things complicated, DON’T go this company… their charge is not fair and we got bad and rude attitude from their manager.
(Btw, I never write bad review for any company, but this company is «must share» with you guys…)

Hey Guys, just moving in and setting up and found that the tub that was snaked it having a slow drain, I am taking the day off to finish setting up, can someone please come out tomorrow, Monday, and fix it? I paid $ 150 and it is not right, thanks.

I called Matthew this morning due to a leaky toilet and much to my surprise he said he could get someone out to me this afternoon. His guy Mark called to let me know he was headed my way and showed up pretty soon after. Sure enough it was exactly what they had suspected and cost exactly what I was quoted. Mark was friendly and funny and did a great job, I am very pleased with his service and felt he went above and beyond. Rossman Plumbing will definitely be my go to plumber from here on out. Thanks guys!!!

I called this morning at around 11am, and asked if they had service available on a Sunday as taking time off work for a 4 hour window is tough, and they said someone would be here between 2pm-​3pm. WHICH THEY WERE :) We had originally called a competitor yesterday and made an appt for today when they called us today and said they couldn’t make it but could Monday which would have meant time off work so we went through Unilocal and called until we found someone available. Matt came to repair our broken shower handle and we had two other needs around the house for plumbing which he took care of in the very same visit as well. They’ve earned our business from here on out :)

Was in the process of moving and, of course, the valve for our washing machine broke as we were trying to unhook it. Needed someone to come out fast. After calling a few different places on Unilocal,this was the only company that answered the phone at 7 pm. They said someone could come out for a free estimate the next day. The individual also stated that this sounded like an easy fix but he didn’t have the «price book» to give me an actual estimate on cost. The plumber was punctual and estimated that the entire project to replace the valve box would be $ 350! But he would also have to cut into the dry wall, which he then would not be able to repair. After I thought this price was steep, I called a handyman I have used in the past for a second opinion — he said that he would be able to repair the valve box and repair the drywall for under $ 200. Needless to say, I definitely went with my local handyman.

Had to have my hot water heater replaced and Matthew came through for me, every time something goes crazy at the house Rossman Plumbing comes to the rescue and I would recommend them for all plumbing issues! They are the best around!

Twice he was called on for emergency water damage repairs by SoCal Management. Twice he showed up quickly and got the job done quickly. He appears quite knowledgeable with the pipes. However, his cost to replace the laundry washer hookup was almost $ 200 — a bit pricey.

Had an emergency Christmas weekend. Matthew and staff came to my house early Saturday morning and quickly took care of the issue.
They were both very professional, knowledgeable, and knew the exact issues with our plumbing within minutes. They solved our plumbing issue right away and for a reasonable price! I also liked the fact that he had an iPad and made a paperless invoice which was sent to my email. Would definitely recommend Rossman plumbing to anyone who has any plumbing issues!
