Very nice young man that helped us, but he had a question about something on the truck and had to call his boss. The boss said not to pass, without even seeing what the issue was. The second star is for the young man being nice.

I was very disappointed with the customer service here. I had to get a smog check for my DMV vehicle registration renewal and like most people I was trying to find an inexpensive place to go to. I happen to find a coupon for $ 18.75 for this place but on the coupon in the small print there was a bunch of added fees for different things (add $ 8 for mid size cars, add $ 10 STAR smog, add $ 10 for SUV + 8.25 CA cert) so I decided to call to clarify what was considered a midsize car and to get a better idea of what I would be paying. The person who answered the phone was very unprofessional when he answered that I even had to confirm that I had called the right place, once he told me I had then I asked about the coupon and small print added fees. He refused to answer my question and would just say that he did not know & I would have to bring coupon in, then I tried clarifying what was considered a midsize car and he said, «whatever the coupon says!» in a very rude almost yelling voice. At this point I didn’t care to take my service here anymore, I was shocked with how unprofessional and rude this guy way. I told him thank you for being so rude and not wanting to answer my questions because you just lost a potential customer and he said, «that’s fine, I don’t care». Can I say, «WOW!» Not my idea of running a good successful business but hey, to each their own. Well I won’t be coming here ever.

Great place to get a smog test. They honor competitors coupons and have their own you can just print out online. I went here today, kind of a hole and in a terrible location as far as business is concerned but I was in and out within 20 min. Their waiting area consists of 4 plastic chairs and a tarp hanging for some shade outside (don’t expect air conditioning). Looks to be a smaller 2 man operation and they probably just sub-​lease some small office space from the owners. There are a ton of semi-​trucks on the property that actually block the entrance, but if you drive on this non-​paved piece of property you’re probably there. I had my wife go there as well and she experienced the same thing.

Ok I will have to admit that I left my tip before I received any service. I based my tip on the fact that the shop is in an unsavory part of town and when I drove in I thought I had been transported to Valkenvania from the movie Nothing But Trouble. However I will say that the smog check took a total of two minutes to perform which was amazing. I have a smog place that I usually go to, but it wasn’t star certified and usually takes about 45 minutes. I’ve read the other reviews which said that you can get a smog check for $ 35 which I will look into if I have to go back in the future because it was $ 50 plus $ 2 because I used a credit card. The owner and his assistant were very friendly and I was especially shocked that it didn’t take long at all so I will definitely go back with a coupon.

I called and he said between 40 – 70 dollars. First that is double what i am hearing from everyone else on here. Second He was NOT NICE about it at all. I asked about the reviews showing $ 35 and he said «I don’t care you go to them then pay what they charge.»

I was here two years ago for a smog test on another car. I remembered the good quick service Tony, the owner, provided, so, I returned to this smog test place. Tony is a nice man who offers a quick smog test. He took a competitor’s coupon which saved me some bucks. No hassle. I was out within 15 minutes.

Simple, quick and painless. Took my car here yesterday to get smogged for my DMV registration. Found this place through an ad in my pennysaver. Clip the coupon and get smogged for $ 30. The shop owner is a nice Vietnamese man. Will definitely return for future smog checks.
