The food is eatable, bear in mind that this is a truck stop. I’ve eaten here on several occasions out of necessity, each time the experience was similar; polite staff, passable quality with regards to food, pay my bill and leave. The whiskey steak was over cooked(I go for medium rare) and slightly sweet tasting, like a bottled glaze was used. The vegetables and fries are of the frozen variety, heat and serve. The pan fried walleye was decent. All in all, in a pinch, it’s a good place to go when in and out of Minot quickly is the agenda, and when expectations are mediocre at best, it’s a upper mid-west truck stop after all.
