My family has been here a few times and I like their wings, some of the the other food is just ok. They need to make this place more noticeable, change the sign or maybe market it differently. It’s always empty. I don’t know how they keep the doors open. I’d fire the management soon. This place has cool décor, a decent bar area good wings. The outdoor patio should be packed In the summer –never have I seen a person out there. Something’s wrong and they better figure it out and soon.

We arrived at 5:00 p.m. on a Monday night(dinner hour) yet we were 1 of only 3 guests! I should have known this was not a good sign. The«host» was inattentive upon entering so we asked if we should seat ourselves. She then took us to our table. Our server, «Sarena G.» brought us menus, and then just disappeared. Never explained the menu or sauces, nor did she ever return to take our order. This place had over 11 employees that we counted,(out-numbering customers 3 to 1) but they were slow as molasses in February. We had to flag down a random employee in just a black tank-top(in January??) as she ‘volunteered’ to take our order. After I ordered a burger, and began ordering some wings, she interrupted and said she needed to leave and go get a notepad, as I guess a burger and wings was getting too complicated for her — seeing she was used to having 0 customers. She returned a few minutes later with a «notepad» and took our order. The food took forever to arrive. I finished my soda before the appetizer arrived and my partner finished his water, but we were never offered re-fills during the entire course of our meal. The appetizer and the main entrée both came out at the exact same time, even though when we ordered, we were asked and said ‘yes’ to the offer of having the appetizer coming out first. Strange. The food was awful. The sauce dripped off the wings and was in a puddle under them. The burger meat was undercooked, pink and bloody, and tasted like White-Castle meat — only not fully cooked, yuck. The bun was old, and fell apart like a sandy cookie. The napkins were packed so tight into the napkin dispenser, that a person would have needed a crowbar and a pliers to ever get anything out of that thing. The ketchup container was empty and water must have been added to the mustard to save cost and make it more liquidly. It was gross. Only when it was time for the check to be delivered, did the original mystery waitress re-appear like a magician’s assistant pulling off a bad magic trick. That’s when she FINALLY offered me a refill on my Dr. Pepper! What! — As I am leaving? Are you serious. Holy cow this place was bad. After reading some of the reviews on here, I noticed that sometimes management replies pretending that they can’t contact the guests — so here’s my info — but please know in advance, I will NEVER return to this location unless Buffalo Wild Wings does Minnetonka the Ultimate Favor and buys this place out and turns it into a «B-Dubbs!»

It’s difficult to get wings much better than this anyplace else. So many combinations of flavors are available. Personal favorite is the inferno garlic and the trifecta dry rub. I love the atmosphere and service and the patio is dog friendly in the summer.

If you like the feeling of Key West, you will love Hurricane Grill. The beer selection is fantastic and includes local brews. Sundays are happy hour all day! $ 2.25 pints can’t be beat. $ 5 appetizers are just icing on the cake. The bar is clean and doesn’t smell sour like many others. The service us friendly and not pushy. Would be great for groups or a date night. Had several rounds of boneless wings with all different types of sauces. Wasn’t disappointed with anything.

I’ve been here a few times and was never that impressed with the food, but then I was ordering the same thing most of the time, boneless wings. Today, I did the opposite, ordered something completely different, and glad I did. The garlic parmesan tilapia was excellent and my fiancé ordered the beer battered fish. Everything was so good. Our server, ROBERT S, was OUTSTANDING! He had drink refills on the table before you could ask for more. He came by at least 4 times to make sure we were ok. any other time I would have given this place 3 stars, but today it was 5!

Service was always slow, but more recently has been horrible. The family still loves the food. Sauce options and food quality remains high. We just can’t be waiting 30+ minutes for food on a weeknight when the restaurant is about half full.

Absolutely horrible. I have been there a handful of times and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Tonight it took two hours for us to get our food. At the end of it all my order still wasn’t right. My poor server was trying her hardest, but the kitchen was continually messing up. The manager never even came out to talk to us. The food is getting worse in quality. I heard other people complaining around me. I don’t know how this place is staying in business.

Friendly greeters and server(Kevin H.) welcomed us to our first visit to Hurricane. The menu has LOTS of interesting selections, besides the signature wings. Spouse ordered the chicken quesadilla and I chose Key West tilapia. Both entrees were absolutely DELICIOUS, accompanied by very freshly made house-cut fries and WONDERFULLY seasoned garlic-parmesan-brocolli. Prices are very reasonable.

Is this a front business for some illicit crime syndicate? I don’t know how they stay in business. It’s dying on the vine but just won’t die. I’m ashamed to say that over the past 1.5 years I’ve been a customer 5 times. Each time I convinced myself it would be better. It just had to be. I’ve never once had good timely service and always had an apology and something comped. I mistakenly assumed that if I called in a to go wing order 30 minutes ahead of time I had a chance of them nailing it. The result was the same as a Vikings or Twins season inevitably is. The plan and product seem to inspire optimism but the result is always the same. The service is terrible but the food is good. Not great. Good for families and the locals who want to grab a drink and appetizer. It doesn’t seem like there is ever anyone managing the resteraunt. Employees manning the bar rail may have been half of the business tonight. One actually got up to help tonight after seeing me waiting, to no avail, for a host meet me up front. He told me to sit anywhere and then walked back to the bar. Too bad I ordered take out. They said it would be 15 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes after ordering. I had to wait another 10 minutes to get help. I was then told I had to wait another 10 for fresh wings. My god. It’s a wing joint. How are they in business? Are they also running MNSURE out of the back room? Can Buffalo Wild Wings please move in or at least have them hire a real restaurant manager?

We went there at about 7 pm one evening last week, got right in, got menus, ordered and then waited over half an hour for our food. I ordered the ten wings and a side salad and my husband ordered a salad with chicken in it. When the meal finally came I thought the wings had been left in the fryer too long. They were hard and flavorless. Wasn’t very impressed with the wings.

Went again tonight with three families, total of 14 people, seated on short notice and they did pretty well. Wings were good, service was ok, all day happy hour on Sunday helped. This place moved up one notch, which is good as it’s the closest to my house. Still not up to par with other restaurants in Minnetonka.

The food was alright, service was pretty slow even tho there wasn’t that many people there! Definitely not the greatest service, my salmon was super dry and rice was so salty… the only good thing was the wings.

My wife and I love going there occasionally for Happy Hour. The appetizers are decent(much better when they are ½ off!) and they have a very good beer selection. We have ordered from the regular menu in the past. It is common fare like an Applebee’s with a Caribbean twist. Nothing really stands out. I guess they figured that theme would work since it is fairly close to Lake Minnetonka. The staff are friendly and many times recognize you and welcome you back. Overall, a good place to go for a quick bite but is no where close to fine dining.

Disappointing. That’s what I take away from this return trip to Hurricane. For starters, we waited at least 10 minutes for the server to come to take a drink order. The good news is there are 30 beers on tap including Surly, and several other local brews. On to the food. As mentioned previously, the nachos were lackluster. Had we known we would’ve ordered the old-style nachos which We were told by both the waitress and Manager(Will get to how we got to see him later) were still available. Funny, the waitress mention that the abolishment of the good nachos helped her get rid of her muffin top! Lmao. Gross. I’m sure the server understood that I wanted blue cheese with my chicken wings and ranch with my onion rings, but we ended up getting only ranch. My other side order was coleslaw, which never came until I asked for it along with my blue cheese, received nearly at the end of my meal. My father-in-law’s order of a sirloin steak came out medium rare rather than medium well and too tough to send home to feed the dog. The food tasted great except for the steak, the service is slow, but friendly. After speaking with the Manager we were comp’d a hamburger. We enjoyed the beers, and dared order a dessert to go. At least we ran into some old friends to make the drive worth it.

Consistently terrible service. It’s impressive how bad it is unless you sit right at the bar. I have walked out after 10 minutes of waiting to for a server. The bad reggae music drives you nuts. Food can be good or bad, depending on what you order. Burgers are decent, chicken is blah. I gave them a couple tries but they struck out on service every time

I was brought here for lunch once. It was cute how they were trying to go for the whole beach look, but it was really cold in there and the booths were uncomfortable. I ordered a quesadilla. It was not impressive. The strawberry lemonade was good though. I guess overall I really have no desire to ever return to this place.

I came here for a late lunch this week as was visiting family which was during their Happy Hour! They have a great Happy Hour with killer deals on their excellent beet selection. They had Stone UPS which took my by surprise and it’s over of my favorite local beers in San Diego. I had the crab cake sliders and they were very good. The bread was fresh, the French fries were very good too. The service was great as well, she was friendly and informative which is always a good thing when places hand big menus with lots of choices. If I lived in the area, I would frequent this spot for sure.

First visit, I guess it has been open a year, but hard to tell that! The good: Food was fine, I had a juicy build-your-own burger. Everyone else in our party of 10 enjoyed their meal as well. Large outdoor patio and fun Floridian décor. The bad: Service. It’s a new restaurant, maybe this is why the wait for our food was soooo painfully long(literally had pangs of hunger in my stomach). Our server was very nice, she was training in an new server who launched straws across the table at people over our heads. Now, we had a large party of 10, but it was a lunch visit and the place was DEAD inside and out. We ordered very promptly but still waiting at least ½ hour for food. Nothing is complicated, they have a large menu, but there is a lot of crossover between main ingredients, so these were not difficult dishes. I thought it may be the kitchen, but even when we wanted to pay our bill, the servers with MIA. Reading reviews, it seems service is a continue problem here.

My wife and I had a $ 30 voucher for this place out by Minnetonka and we entered trepedaciously because some of her friends said it wasn’t so great. It was about noon on a Saturday and we sat in the bar area, which was replete with TVs with various sports programs on them, they even had soccer one of the TVs. I liked it. The Twins were on and Brian Dozier hit a home run, which meant $ 2 Kamikazes. Yes please. It was really good. You have to love a place that gives good deals when the home team hits a home run! Our server came over and was super upbeat. Loved her! She went through the menu with us and we took about 5 minutes to choose our stuff. My wife ordered the chicken Caesar salad with the chicken on the side with some blue cheese on the side. I ordered a big Stone IPA to start me off while our order was being prepared. Just amazing San Diego Beer. Ohhhh. San Diego, I will be retiring to you in ten years. I digress. The suds were amazing, Stone makes everything fantastic. They have about 20 taps flowing from a quick look on my end. Not bad! Everything looked pretty local too! They have a pretty expansive menu, but I has hungering for an awesome sandwich, so I chose the chicken Philly! I ordered a big Surly Furious to go with the meal. I also asked to try the three hottest sauces. Our server brought out the 5 star Hurricane sauce and the 4 star Hurricane sauce. Yes, they were hot. The garlic 5 star was super hot, but the flavor was in there too! Amazing. It had the sweat dripping from my brow, but not in a bad way. It was just solid heat, but I love heat with flavor! The Philly chicken was awesome, super crispy bread but soft in the inside with lots of peppers and chicken, they did not skimp on the protein. So good! I ordered steamed broccoli as my side and I dipped it into the various sides. Just perfect! An awesome experience. My wife’s salad was huge. Lots of croutons and a juicy chicken breast off to the side, just like she asked. Love the accuracy of the order! My expectations were very low for this place and because of our server and how great the food was, they hit a home run! After a 20 percent tip, it would have been $ 42.

Honestly mind blown with the service I received tonight. Our server was the most helpful kind server I’ve experienced in a LONG time. I had to take a picture of our appetizer, the loaded fries, sooooooo amazing. The food portions were larger than average and the food tasted delicious. Our server brought out 10 flavor samples so we knew what wings we wanted. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and tasted excellent. We used the groupon and the manager was very helpful and nice. We ended up giving us a free 10 $ giftcard on top of it all! I highly recommend this place.
