Hair Design By Tom, was started when I decided to rent my chair in the salon I was working in. I have been in the hair design industry for 25+ years, and find it very rewarding, if you look good, you feel good!

Business Owner

I have been doing hair since my first haircut in Cosmetology School, back in 1986. Since then I have been hooked on this industry! After I graduated from cosmetology school, I continued training by taking classes and working as a stylist assistant. My mentor was Sassoon trained, and my experience and skill grew under their guidance. I have participated in numerous training seminars, classes and shows from some big names within the industry. I have served as an in-​salon educator and class instructor, I assisted in many training videos, and have done hair for photo shoots, and shows. My biggest and most exciting leap was to be a Self Employed Independent Contractor/​Manager. Now Salon/​Suite Owner, operating my own business Hair Design By Tom, LLC.
