Comcast Service Center

I was literally forced to have Comcast as my internet provider. I was optimistic but have since been less than happy. I’m not one of those people who expects the «best» of technology but just the minimum. I have never been more pissed off in my life. I’ve literally tried to kill myself before and nothing but Comcast has ever brought me to that feeling again. I get wifi in my fucking living room but not in my bedroom. Fuck Comcast.

So I’ve been coming to this service center for a few years when I moved into the area. They’ve been awesome at helping keep my rates down vs the incentivized sales reps masking as customer service on the phone. Multiple occasions, multiple reps, same help. Today I went in to turn in some equipment and downgrade our service to try and get the cost down. I’m ok with getting less of the premium stuff to pay less and was happy to do so now. But today their «help» was saying for me to downgrade one level on everything, I’d pay $ 50 MORE and to go to the barebones, I’d only save $ 40. She seemed not interested at all in keeping me as a customer as I threatened cancellation several times after her initial resistance and said she could hand me a rate card. When does Comcast actually care about their rate card with all their packages, and discounts built into their system to try and keep customers? The total lack of care has now trickled down to their face to face employees who probably take a lot of crap on a daily basis. Today is the first day I stopped feeling bad for them for working for a crappy company (hey we all need to work somewhere) and will be glad to heap on the crap if they’re dishing it right back. Screw this service center and screw Comcast.

Worst internet service known to man. It constantly drops, is slow, and unreliable. With the worst customer service ratings in the country, good luck getting help.
My advice, use a different company.

It’s 6:30 which they say is their busiest time right before close. Yet there is 1 person greeting and 2 others working. Currently a 45 minute wait with 10 people waiting. This is why everyone hates Comcast. Great customer service all around!!! (Insert sarcasm where needed).
