Welcome to the Wedge Table, the new cooperative café and market from the Wedge Community Co-op. Offering the farm to table organic goodness with a convenience that works for you.
We focus on freshly prepared offerings for dine-in and take-out. Handcrafted baked goods, soups and salads complement our made-to-order sandwiches, burrito station, and hot entrée bar. We also have a wide selection of foods available to just grab & go.
Our market offers the convenience of a corner store, but one that’s stocked with good food from local purveyors. You’ll find fresh fruits & vegetables, bread baked daily, and a great selection of grocery items.

History
Established in 2015.
The Wedge Community Co-op was established in 1974.
We are a consumer-owned co-op with over 15,000 owners that anyone can join. Everyone is welcome to shop, owner or not!
A group of neighbors opened The Wedge in November of 1974. The first store was in a basement apartment on Franklin Ave. Early members were interested in health, the environment, sustainable agriculture and social justice; the cooperative business model ensured that the fledgling store would reflect the membership commitment to these concerns as it grew. That commitment is still an integral part of the Wedge.
We bought a store on Lyndale Ave in 1979. In 1992 it built a new store nearby which it doubled in 1997.
In 2015 we opened The Wedge Table, a cooperative market and café on Eat Street. The Wedge Table provides local and organic groceries, meals for dine-in or grab and go, and a community meeting space. The building also houses our catering, bake house, and commissary operations.
