A family favorite! Can’t go wrong with the wings, burgers and flat bread pizzas! Add an extensive beer selection and friendly wait staff, making Town Hall Lanes a perfect place for a night out.

Poor service. Went to lunch at 12:30 on a Wednesday. Maybe 10 other people in the place. After the waiter dropped off our food he never came back until he dropped off the bill. I had to eat the ice out of my drink since it was empty and was never offered a refill. The brewhouse burger was average at best. It comes with cheese and«house» mayo and that’s it! No pickles, lettuce, tomato or onions were included or offered. If I would have known that I would have ordered something else. Those are pretty basic items that most places will include on the plate automatically. Not sure if I’ll give this place another try.

Been to eat here twice and every time the food has been great and the service equally as good!

Cool setup. Tons of excellent beers on tap. 4 stars simply because I haven’t tried the food yet. But the bowling is nice and new and smooth. And the selection of beer is hard to beat.

Came here with the kids on a Sunday morning to bowl. We didn’t order food or beer(I wish it had been later in the day!) but our experience with strictly the bowling aspect was great. Friendly staff, the lanes were in good shape and the kids had a great time. I’d love to come back to eat, drink and bowl — and when I do I’ll update this review. But until then — looking for a good place to bowl with or without kids? This is an option you should check out.

I wish I could give Town Hall Lanes a higher review. The location, atmosphere, beer and food was all very good but the service we received while sitting at the bar was horrible! Rude and unwelcoming.

Service wasn’t very nice. Also, the food is over rated! Fries are over seasoned. I’ve had chicken tenders to pretzels both better at the movie theater! My boyfriend liked the cheese burger. So that’s why I am giving it 2 stars because he actually liked something. I have tried this place a couple times just to try different things on the menu since it is so close to my house but I would only go back To go bowling.

Prices here are crazy amazing for bowling! Super cheap! The restaurant here is clean and spacious! Lots of beer options! It gets super packed here and there are limited lanes! There are only like 6 parking spots in the lot? So plan on street parking. Other than that the staff is diligent, friendly and fast! Lanes are tidy and simple! Definite comeback spot but good luck getting in!

Overall its a decent place to bowl, a better place to drink; the service is not the best and the bowling is way over-priced.

Went to Town Hall Lanes a couple weekends ago to bowl with some friends. I can’t believe I hadn’t been here sooner. The lanes are nice and clean. They have a great selection of bowling balls and the shoes are super comfy and don’t smell! I didn’t go into the bar/restaurant area we just bowled so I can’t say what that was like but it looked like it was hoppin. The bowling system was super up to date and super fun. They allow you to take pictures of each bowler to appear by their name and you can also take a pic of the whole team for the background image. The seating areas on the lanes are set up like big booths you would sit at a restaurant(loved this as we had a big group and socializing is fun!). The staff was super friendly. Our food was excellent and the beer was even better! Truly a gem over on the south side of Minneapolis.

Good neighborhood spot. Possibly the best chicken tenders I’ve ever had… A lot of the other food is pretty meh, but the chicken tenders have amazing seasoning! It gets 4 stars from me because it has a good atmosphere… You can bowl… Lots of TVs… They make their own beer. Masala Mama is the one for me! Lots of folks also like super strike for something less heavy. I have to admit, the food at the sister restaurant is better(town hall tap), but town hall lanes is a good time nonetheless!

I’ve been here a few times due to the proximity to my house. Definitely a fun place to visit. Bowling is great and fun but can get a little pricey. Drinks are decent. Service has been just fine when I’ve gone. The first visit we sat at the bar and ordered food. They had a veggie sandwich that I remember being very good but it wasn’t on the menu the next time I went. We had ordered the meatless meatballs but were actually given the meat and our server felt terrible about it. My boyfriend just laughed it off and we were given our actual order and a discount. The second time we ordered the sweet potato fries which are nice but nothing spectacular. A semi-local haunt

This place has potential, but room for improvement. My family and I have eaten and bowled there several times. We have consistently found the food to miss the mark. I think they are attempting sophisticated pub food, but it is inconsistently executed and not that good. We have found the staff to be rude and pretentious, and a little too cool for the rest of us. But the bowling is fun. We really want to like it, maybe if they quit trying too hard to be hip. Fingers crossed.

The overall impression of this place: the food is good, the service is atrocious. The problem came from ordering one of their speciality cocktails and not liking them, so we sent them back. Well, attempted to. We were told we’d still have to pay for them, which… okay. I’ve never had to do that anywhere else, as usually they’re trying to keep our business in the future, but that’s apparently not how this place does business. Fine, whatever, I’ll pay for the drink I don’t like and won’t drink. We placed an order for different drinks which involved ginger beer. Fifteen minutes later they finally get around to coming back and telling us they’re out of ginger beer. Wow, thanks for the wait to tell us that. We place another drink order, and as we do so our server goes, «Oh, and I’ll put your food order in.» You mean the food order we made fifteen minutes earlier?! Nice. I ask her to take away the drinks we obviously aren’t going to be drinking and are just taking up space on our table, and she rolled her eyes at us as she did it. WOW. Sorry we’re so difficult, asking you to do your job. In fairness, the service did improve after that and she did apologize for the waits and that we had to pay for the drinks(I guess it was the jilted bartender’s decision?). Regardless, being nice for the last third of our meal doesn’t earn you many points in my book. The food itself is really good, which is why it’s so disappointing I won’t be going here again. My burger was, quite frankly, outstanding. The peppered fries were delicious. My friend was a big fan of her chicken sandwich. I just can’t go somewhere where they treat me like that. Oh, well.

I like town hall lanes– I haven’t been to bowl yet, but have eaten in a few time and takeout another time. All in all, food is good. The lowdown: Burgers are huge. Cooked well and are easily customizable. Walleye sandwich is ridiculously good(and big!). I found it to be a little dry– but easily remedied if you ask for a side of tartar sauce with it(comes with the sauce on it, but I didn’t think there was quite enough). Their spicy fried chicken sandwich is outstanding. Comes with blue cheese dressing on it and is juicy, spicy deliciousness on a fresh bun. I’ve ordered this twice– both times were dynamite. Pulled pork sandwich– on the spicy side. If you’re a Sally mouth, don’t order this! Fries– the FRIES! I know– you’re probably thinking fries are fries– not so. These are battered, a little on the thin side, then brilliantly fries to a perfect crisp before being lovingly laid to rest on the plate. I firmly believe these are some of the best fries I’ve ever eaten. The service– all times I’ve eaten here, the wait time for food has been a little long. One of the time I was there, we were one of two tables in the whole place. Seemed a little odd for food to take 30 minutes plus from order to table. Love that this place is in our neighborhood– we will be regulars!

I love this place. It’s a lively, inviting, and fun local spot. My sister, Kim B., lives in the area so we come here frequently. Today we did some yard work and figured we would reward ourselves with a walk that landed us at the front door. We had an early dinner and a couple tap beers. The beer selection is always fantastic, and I’ve never been disappointed with the food. Today was a brat with kraut and spicy mustard and house fries, so good. Kim(being vegan) always gets the veggie sandwich. Considering we’ve be here a half dozen times together and she has been there at least that many times without me, that must one damn good sammy. Service was a little slow today, but that isn’t normal. It won’t keep me from going back either!

I won’t pretend that there is even an iota of objectivity in this review, as I’ve been a big fan of Town Hall for quite some time and have spent quite a bit of time becoming less sober at the Lanes location specifically. The beer, as with the other Town Hall locations, has always been the primary draw for me(they don’t brew on site, but they have a number of taps featuring the beer they brew at the mothership location in downtown). They also have a large selection of guest craft beers and ciders. From a dining perspective, the menu has improved with time, and overall THL serves good pub grub. The flatbreads are the standouts for me, but you can’t go wrong with the burgers either. As implied in the name, there are ten lanes available for you to channel your inner Lebowski. The bowling alley is new and modern, as they pretty much gutted the lanes that existed prior to Town Hall moving in. The staff are great, with many of them being members of the growing Town Hall empire for quite some time. They’ve tolerated my dumbassery on many an occasion, so they’re clearly saints. Fuck it, Dude. Let’s go bowling.

My review for THL’s is far overdue. I’ve probably been here at least 50 times since it opened for many different reasons. 1. Beers with buddies. Great place to meet up for a drink. The TH beers are excellent, and the guest list is always rotating new beers to try. Good happy hour deals too. 2. Kid Friendly — The kids love coming here. When my wife is out of town, I’ll walk with the kids here every time. 3. Family Friendly — We’ve been here numerous times with other families and can easily find a spot to accommodate large parties. 4. Close to airport — I’ve been here so many times with people from work who are on the way to or from the airport. It’s a good place for lunch, even without beer involved. The booths have a nice private feeling for business conversations. 5. Bowling — I often forget the bowling aspect. I’ve only bowled once… need to do it more often. When sitting in the main restaurant or bar area, you really don’t hear the bowling in the back, which is a great perk! I’m very happy to have THL’s in the neighborhood. It’s a great spot.

This place is like discovering hidden treasure, but hidden treasure soaked in amazing wings sauce with lashing of delicious craft beers and bowling balls on the side. GOTHERENOW! Town Hall Lanes is a really fun place to hang out. You can sit by the bar and watch the game while sampling a range of local, national and international brews. You can sit in the restaurant to eat(FORGOD’S SAKEYOUMUSTTRYTHEDRYRUBCHICKENWINGSORYOUWILLBURNINHELL) or eat at the bar. Finally there is are kick-ass bowling lanes there for desert. Who doesn’t want to hang out here?!? Go there. Tonight. Now. Awesome!
