Timberland

Three years ago, my girlfriend bought me a pair of mid-​cut tan Timbs from this store. Years later, I still rock them on stage when hosting hip-​hop shows, in meetings for work, or out to eat with friends. Pretty much everywhere! They’re everything I could ever ask for in a pair of boots: comfortable, durable, and fashionable.
Regarding the store itself, I’ve visited several times to ask some questions about boot maintenance and perused through their clothes. The staff members I’ve interacted with are helpful, knowledgeable, and will try their best to help you find what you need. Like Michael said, they’re laid back!
What keeps me from giving this Timberland store five stars is the fact that some of the prices listed for their shirts and jackets are significantly higher than the prices listed on Timberland’s website and other retailers. I just can’t get myself to shop there if more affordable options are available. I also find the selection a bit limited and usually end up leaving with nothing even when I’m willing to fork over the extra cash.
I’m still a fan, though! I’ll be back soon to check out their summer collection.

Ok, wandered in to Timberland today during the craziness of the Uptown Art Fair. The clothes and shoes are AWESOME. They are pricey, but they had a great promotion going on. The two guys working there — Dean and Martin — or something like that (seriously) were really great. It’s nice to find some quality clothes in a down to earth atmosphere. Think of this place as Eddie Bauer, but A LOT cooler and much better quality. (Sorry if the EB reference is insulting, Timberland.)
