The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis

The venue is elegant, but outside the restaurant, the staff is a colossal failure. No leadership, amateurish program management, poor advertising and communication. It has a lot of potential but until competent leadership arrives and replaces confused and incompetent staff it will continue to hobble.

I went here with my aunt, the staff was so friendly to me. I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. The food is very delicious. Compliments to the chef.

We had not been here for dinner or an event for quite a few years but I have always loved the Woman’s Club for its fine dinning and classic elegance.
They are now open for Sunday brunch for the public and it is easily the best brunch I have ever had. While most brunches are mostly breakfast with a bit of Fried Chicken or Salisbury Steak or Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes thrown in, this is three buffets in one.
It starts with a selection of amazing salads. I really liked the Kale, Sweet Potato and Walnut Salad, but there were at least a half a dozen others and they all looked good. Then there are serving trays with Waffles, Bacon and Sausage. But the real treat is a chef making Omelets to order. They really looked good and I was torn between that and the dinner items – I went for the dinners instead. The same chef had Beef and Ham cut to order, or there were three entrees with Potatoes or Black Rice with Fish or Chicken. I sampled all three and each was wonderful. One of the others in our party thought the Beef was the best he could remember having in a long time.
Follow that up with an extensive desert table, add a fantastic surroundings, a view of Loring Park and you have a place that you could go to each Sunday for weeks on end and still find a variety of eating experiences. Not inexpensive but well worth the price. There were three in our party and we all left full and very satisfied after a very relaxing conversation filled meal.

I am a proud member of the club and cannot say enough about the location, the food, the amazing staff, the amazing members, it is the best move I have made since moving here 20 years ago.
Whatever you want, the club provides it to members. You like to sew? There are chemo caps to be made for donation. Want to network? Members mentor each other at once a month dinners. Want to learn to play bridge? Groups for that. Want to learn a cooking skill? there are classes with the chef. Want to engage in philanthropy, we have LOTS of opportunities and the one I had the most fun at was the annual estate sale.
Holiday events like Halloween, Christmas celebrations and New Year’s are family oriented and so much fun.
Become a member (men can too!) and join us, it is magical. My husband loves coming in with his laptop and working in the library so don’t think you have to be female :)

One of the most elegant venues for weddings. Ballroom, auditorium, numerous meeting rooms and dining room with fabulous food. Holiday meals and Sunday brunches are wonderful to share with family and friends.

Love the Women’s Club of Minneapolis. While it is a member’s only club they open up to the public for Sunday brunch (and I believe Thursday dinner). The brunch is fantastic. There is a wide array of food, from traditional breakfast items like a omelette bar, bacon & sausage to more non-​traditional items such as turkey salad, hummus & pita, grilled vegetables and more. This past weekend we ate delights such as lamb & polenta, crab covered catfish, salads. The caramel cheesecake bites are outstanding. To top it all off you also get unlimited beverages: juice, wine, champagne or minosas. At $ 32.95 with tax and service fees it isn’t the cheapest brunch in the city but when you factor on the amount of food and drink plus the ambiance of a beautiful building (and a behind the scenes tour if you’re lucky) it is fantastic!

I am a member and can honestly say I love going to the woman’s club to get away. I was sold on the main lounge with the view of the city, but the friendly folks are what keeps me there.

My cousin and his wife belong to the Woman’s Club. So while in town they wanted to meet up there for lunch. IT was funny as Gus was so surprised that the building of the Woman’s Club is right next to where he lived many years ago and he never realized what this building is.
Speaking of the building, it is a pip. Nice old fashioned class all the way. Great views from the back and nice rooms for gatherings. The lunch was buffet style and quite good. Very polite folks serving and seating. A great place to enjoy your family over lunch.
