History
Established in 2010.
While the name The Barber Sharp and the location are new the history of the shop along with the patronage dates back nearly a century. The 1920’s was the era the barbershop was established on 2nd St NE. Since that time generation after generation in the Sheridan neighborhood have come to «their» barbershop in «their «community and have supported «their» local business which in turn has created a real sense of community and place. When the building was sold in March of 2010 the owner of the Barber Sharp was determined not to move far. And far it was not just two blocks away in June of 2010 The Barber Sharp relocated from 2nd Street NE to 13th Ave next to The Ritz theater. Come see for yourself an old school barbershop @ The Barber Sharp.
Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner
My story is this, after selling real estate for 15 years and the downturn of the market and just plain life’s transitions, I decided I was going back to school to do something I always wanted to learn, to cut hair. I chose barbering for two reasons to specialize in mens hair cutting and shaving and most importantly to make sure the bye gone era of old school barbering isn’t gone for ever. Come see my shop and check out the third place a sense of community and belonging.
