History

Established in 2011.

The Abstracted Art Gallery is a bold and daring community based studio/​gallery in the heart of the Northeast Arts District of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Quickly making a name for themselves, the artists and collaborators at The Abstracted host numerous gallery openings/​exhibits throughout the year, each one capturing an imaginative approach that hasn’t been tried before, much to the delight of newcomers. The innovative collective features exhibits from emerging, mid-​career, and established artists of all varieties, from local to worldwide.

Offering full-​color screen-​printing capabilities and accommodations for a veritable plethora of mediums, The Abstracted boasts private space available for its artists to practice their craft, and produce work within the space itself. By giving their artist private space to practice, the contributors are often seen with beaming smiles because they too know they are a part of something special being created.
