Just moved here from Michigan. Super-Target’s no Meijers, but definitely served my grocery needs. Best I’ve found, I heart Target and and always have(This is first time for groceries).

Listen up, corporate marketing-scheme department! Don’t advertise«Premium Wrapping Paper» when it’s not. I was expecting a bit thicker paper since it said«premium» wrapping paper, but you got me! Wrapping presents, I accidentally breathed a bit on it, and it ripped. And I accidentally touched it, and it ripped. And OH, I looked at it, and it ripped. Good grief. Where have your standards gone? How stupid are we, really? «Honey, look, PREMIUM wrapping paper. Let’s spend double, because it MUST be good.» Marketing schmarketing. Get real. Just call it «Shitty Wrapping Paper — the thinnest and shittiest you’ve ever used in your lifetime — GUARANTEED!»

I really love Target. I appreciate that they are truly trying to carry everything their customers want, and then some. Quite often I will think«I wish Target had.. .» and within a few months they will have it(or maybe I will finally find it, because let’s be honest, it is sometimes hard to find exactly what you’re looking for). Their organic food is very competitively priced and their deli is much less freaky than other grocery stores(I appreciate their lack of buffet-style gloppy pasta salads). I can usually find other things I need, too. I recently purchased the only rice cooker they have on the shelf, and was very happy to get it home and check the reviews to see it was one of the most highly rated cookers out there. Looks like Target is doing its homework and not just buying the crappiest/cheapest thing available. 1 star away specifically targeted(hah!) at whoever purchases for boys clothes. They are NOT paying attention to what parents want for their sons. Girls section ROCKS! I can always find a lot of cute girl clothes. There is NOTHING for boys. Oh wait. If I want Sponge Bob pajamas I’m good. Rant over.

I typically visit this Target if I need to do some grocery shopping… and some clothes shopping… and some accessories shopping… and some decoration shopping… So, just when I need to do some shopping in general. I can typically get whatever it is that I need to get, which is great. Except this must have not been a typical Sunday. A lot of the shelves were empty — no more zuchinnis, no more strawberries, no more animal cookies, no more oatmeal cookies, no more squash. Just no more of a lot of things. I wondered if it was because I was there too late? Nope, it was two in the afternoon. But of course, there’s nothing Target could ever do wrong. It made up for it by providing Einstein Bagels baked goods(some of the best choco croissants) and services where they can slice your bread for you instantly. Target. How I love thee.
