History
Established in 2009.
Sugar Sugar opened in October 2009, just in time for the biggest candy holiday of the year, Halloween. The initial concept and creation being the brain child of Joni Wheeler, professional candy appreciator and style mavis extraordinaire. It quickly became a neighborhood favorite, and in no time Joni was in need of some help, on the sales floor and with attention to packaging and presentation. Something Sugar Sugar is known for. Enter, Tracy Holy, friend to Joni and a bit of a décor and packaging crackerjack in her own right. With these two at the helm, this sugar ship sailed into the hearts of parents and kids alike, making the stop at the corner candy store a sweet delight!
Tracy bought this 600 square feet of sugar bliss in March of 2014, and has since added her own whimsical style elements to the shop, curated a candy selection that ranges from retro favorites and locally made treats, to a careful selection of bean-to-bar chocolate that would make any connoisseur relish.
