I love Amy and her flower shop. I’ve been a customer since it opened. I live in the neighborhood and her style for flowers and home décor gets me every time. Of course I used her when I got married and it was such a breeze she already knew what i would want before I even got to my consultation. It wasn’t cheap but cheap isnt as pretty as my wedding turned out. 100% worth it!

This shop is so adorable! I would have never known about it if it weren’t for Carver Junk Co. across the street!
I walked in and was immediately like a kid in a candy store looking at the all the really neat terrariums, plants and flowers. This shop is so chic! Some little plants right inside the door caught my eye. Apparently I’ve been living in a box and never have heard of air plants! These little guys look so interesting, and the store carries a lot of display options so they have everything you need right in one stop. They have a huge selection of succulents and the lady at the counter was very helpful and knowledgeable on what plants need and what containers work best. I barely made it to the back of the shop, but I noticed they have a cooler, which to me mean fresh flowers. I think this place will flourish due to it’s great variety, knowledge and green thumb quality.

Today I ordered the Como arrangement for delivery, using the website as a reference for what the bouquet would look like. I had a question about the sizes and so called into the store. The woman I spoke with was very nice, answered my question and took my order over the phone after I explained I was hoping for delivery today. Just for others looking to order — the website says orders after 11:00 will be delivered next day. I called in around 10:30 and fortunately mentioned I wanted them delivered same day as apparently had I placed my order on the website, it wouldn’t have let me choose today as the delivery date.
Customer service was great.
However, when I received the picture of my arrangement (which is a nice service) I was disappointed at how different the bouquet sent was compared to the bouquet on the website. The website does expressly say that the same flowers may not be used, but to me the bouquet that was created was much closer to the Franklin arrangement, rather than the Como arrangement. I chose the Como specifically because I liked the dark elements in the bouquet and because it didn’t use roses or hydrangeas, both of which appeared in the final bouquet.
After reading reviews, I realize that I could have been more specific about what I wanted or didn’t want, but it didn’t occur to me to do so at the time.
The bouquet is beautiful, just not what I was expecting.

First rate service!
I called this morning to order something for a dear friend who experienced two major losses yesterday. I spoke with Sarah, described the situation, and told her I absolutely didn’t want something that would die… So even though the Spruce flowers are lovely, that wouldn’t do in this instance. I was intrigued by their terrariums, so I chose a vessel, gave her a dollar figure, and trusted it would be lovely.
I hung up the phone with Spruce at MAYBE 11:30 AM, and at 2:00 PM my friend sent me a text thanking me for the awesome terrarium. She said it came with care instructions, and she thanked me for not sending flowers.
Thanks to Spruce for cheering a friend in the midst of a really tough week. The ASAP delivery was top notch customer service, and you can bet that their shop is moving to the top of my Rolodex for future gifts and (maybe a little something for myself …).

I am giving them 1 star because I don’t know if it registers if I give them no stars. I really can’t tell you if their arrangements are any good because I was married this past Saturday and I am still waiting for a bid from them. When I met with them for my wedding I told them my dress is buttercream and the groom was wearing navy blue. I wanted pale yellow and soft blue flowers and I wanted blue hydrangeas in my bouquet. They told me that there really aren’t any good choice for blue flowers and that hydrangeas would never hold up in my bouquet. And, as I already mentioned… I am still waiting to hear their ideas and a bid. Fortunately, I went with an incredible florist in St. Paul. The flowers were unbelievable. Everyone that attended the wedding said they were some of the most spectacular flowers they have ever seen. They did use blue hydrangeas in my bouquet and today is Monday they look as fresh as went they delivered them to the church. I would never count on a florist that does even follow up with their potential customer

I wanted to order flowers for Mother’s Day so I Unilocaled Spruce hoping I could support a local Minneapolis business.
I placed the order online.
They called me saying I didn’t select a delivery option and that it was an additional cost. I thought that was strange because I remember entering in my mom’s address. I added delivery and paid them more for that service.
My mom didn’t receive any flowers on Mother’s Day.
I emailed them with my order information the following Tuesday morning to ask for a refund. I didn’t hear from them for 3 hours and I was pissed off so I gave them a call.
They apologized, said they had no record of anything happening or not happening, offered to give me a refund, and offered to send my mom some free post mother’s day flowers.
From what I can tell, Spruce has nice arrangements and they’re nice people with a disorganized ordering and customer service experience. To ensure my flowers are delivered on time, I wouldn’t order from them again.

Marlo, you did an exceptional job of helping me create the perfect arrangement. This was a detailed order — we chose the *exact* flowers, the colors, the greens — and Spruce Flowers nailed it down to the last detail. Marlo took the time to send me photos of the arrangement so I could see what it looked like when it was delivered.
Stephanie, you are truly a gifted artist. I had an idea of the arrangement I wanted – you elevated it to a work of art. The flowers were high-​quality with lush colors. The arrangement was delivered precisely on time and with great care.
I received so many comments from people who wanted to know where on earth I found a florist that could create such a beautiful bouquet.
If you are looking for a florist who can create an arrangement that will make your jaw drop for a very reasonable price, I highly recommend Spruce Flowers.

I have never been to the store since I live in CA, but ordered an arrangement online for next day delivery. I am telling you, it is worth every penny.
I was skeptical about how it would look since I ordered the smaller Como arrangement, but without being asked, Michael from Spruce sent over a photo in an email of the arrangement he created this morning, having adhered to my request for flower color perfectly.
I am so appreciative and the arrangement is gorgeous.

If you think you’ve seen a pretty flower arrangement before, just wait until you order one from Spruce. These florists define amaze-​balls. I’ve ordered two arrangements for two different occasions, and everything has gone off without a hitch. The first bouquet I ordered was the Bryant, and I requested an emphasis on purple because my awesome mama can’t get enough of it (no, seriously. She’s more purple-​happy than Prince, and he’s, like, REALLY into purple.). Spruce totally exceeded my expectations but not my budget. They have this little space when you order to put in any special requests, and it turns out they actually take those requests to heart.
The second bouquet was the Creative Director, which essentially leaves the whole design up to the florist. It was a welcome-​to-​the-​world gift for a new baby and his parents, so I requested blues, pastels, and anything else they thought would be appropriate for the occasion. I am admittedly not a flower expert, so I had no problem leaving the thing up to people who have had at least a little success keeping plants, ya know, alive. Once again, I was totally happy with the arrangement. It was unfortunately more whites than any fun, celebratory colors, but Spruce is conscientious of flowers’ seasonality, so for all I know they had no blues available. Either way, it was beautiful and fit the family really well, so my trust is still intact.
Spruce also went above and beyond by sending me a picture of the arrangement. There’s just a part of me that loves seeing the finished product, and they obliged. I’ve never been into the actual shop, but I’m pretty sure when I do I will not leave until I’ve bought one of everything (don’t tell my husband!). Spruce has awesome customer service, gorgeous arrangements, and a local flair that is hard to find anywhere else.

I’m not a guy who gives flowers a lot, but Spruce makes me want to become one. Might need a girlfriend first, but hey…
Everything about the process of getting flowers as a hostess gift for my mom hosting Thanksgiving was awesome. Called them the day before, realizing I should probably get flowers or something (#1 Son Award goes to me). Two other major flower shops in the area (who won’t be named) couldn’t fit me into their busy, crazy, floral schedule. Spruce could– and quickly! Their arrangements for Thanksgiving were awesome, and they were able to answer all my dumb questions easily.
The girl asked me about color preferences to which I was just like «do ya damn thang» (just kidding– I didn’t say that because I’m super chivalrous, remember?). They did their damn thang though. The flowers came out awesome. My mom loved them.
The store itself is super cool. Terrariums, guys, terrariums. I want a house full of terrariums, but I don’t think I will ever be cool enough for that. The design of the place is bright and inviting with a super cool logo. This place is what rom coms are made of.
Yeah, the flowers are pricey, but when it comes to a unique bouquet for someone you care about (and supporting a local business!) you gotta be okay with that. Highly suggest Spruce for your next chivalrous gift, bros.

I fell in love with Spruce when I purchased a few flowers in their Chicago Ave store several months ago. Today I ordered a bouquet on the phone for a co-​worker. It was such a great experience, very friendly staff & a beautiful selection of arrangements arrangements. Great customer service, which to me makes all the difference, they even e-​mailed me a picture of the bouquet. I would highly recommend getting flowers here. :) Thanks Spruce!

This is my fiancé’s all time favorite flower shop. They always have the best selection of fresh cut flowers and can create anything you want based off of a price point. I usually just go in, say what colors I want and how much I want to spend and they put together something that’s perfect! The flowers last at least a week or more and smell wonderful. The flowers are always wrapped with care in tissue with a ribbon around them. In the winter they will also wrap them in newspaper to help protect them from the weather. I will be a long term customer of this store and have stopped buying flowers anywhere else!

I ordered a «Creative Director» bouquet for a friend’s birthday and it was amazing! I only told Spruce Flowers to create a bouquet with yellow, orange, and green hues and they created something BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING! My friend said it was the best bouquet she’d EVER gotten. I would highly recommend ordering flowers from Spruce Flowers! The flowers looked really fresh! They are amazing and the price is reasonable and so worth it! Thank you Spruce Flowers for creating such a master piece!

This is perhaps the most customer-​friendly flower shop I’ve ever been to. They made a wonderful arrangement with my thoughts in mind, sent me a photo, and the bill was itemized so I can order certain things in the future! The delivery was spot on as well, communicating well when my friend was not home. They will be getting my business in the future.

Ordered flowers from here for a friends birthday. They have the best selection of bouquets in MPLS, plus they have same day delivery. Definitely recommend Spruce :)

Employees are friendly, flowers aren’t outrageous and they’ll store flowers for you if you ask nicely.

I live in San Francisco and was looking for a florist in Minneapolis who could deliver flowers to my mother in law. I contacted Spruce because they have great Unilocal reviews and I love their unique designs (I really prefer artistically minded florists vs. 1 – 800 flowers type).
Spruce did not disappoint! The flowers were stunning and my mother in law absolutely loved them — said they were the most beautiful flowers she’s ever received.
To top it off, customer service was fantastic. It was incredibly easy to place an order on the phone — I spoke with Amy who was very helpful and friendly. They even emailed me an invoice and a photo of the arrangement. Amazing!

Wow, so impressed with the help I received on sending out some flowers, so kind and receptive to «fresh» ideas!
AND sent me a picture of the final product before it was sent out, new favorite for sure!

I ordered flowers from here for Valentine’s Day, but gave them the wrong address by accident. Spruce had their driver running all over town trying to keep up with my wife, finally catching her just before dessert at the restaurant we had reservations at. The staff did all this with a smile (thanks Stehanie!).
Oh, and the flowers were fresh, vibrant, and smelled beautiful.

Taking me to Spruce is like taking a kindergartner to an ice cream parlor. Limits should be set in the car on the way there, long before entering the store and maybe in writing… before it’s too late.
I’m 96% sure that Spruce has been Inceptioning me in my sleep, finding out exactly what I love and then making my dreams a reality in this store. Or maybe they just follow me on Pinterest. Succulents and air plants are everywhere, hanging in glass terrariums and crafted into the gorgeous window display. It even smells beautiful, thanks to some Tocca candles and the fact that there are pretty flowers all around, of course. Everything in this store grabbed my attention because everything is absurdly brilliant, gorgeous and detail-​oriented.
The owner Amy wasn’t there, but Stephanie was really helpful as my friend and I asked her a bunch of questions about caring for our plants and about their wedding services (to refer our betrothed friends there). She let us know that they get a lot of the succulents and flowers locally and also set my friend up with a customer appreciation card. If you spend $ 15 over five visits, you get a free $ 15 discount. Plus, they’ll keep your card there so you don’t lose it.
It’s good floral design, top to bottom. Well done, Spruce.
