Robert P. Christensen, P.A.

Bob graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School (cum laude) in 1974 and has been a trial lawyer for 36 years. Since law school, he has practiced as a lawyer in Minnesota and throughout the country on trial and appellate levels in the state and federal courts.

He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a Senior Counsel of the College of Master Advocates and Barristers, a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and an Emeritus member of the Board of Directors of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association.

He is the former President of Creative Dispute Resolution. He served on the Board of Governors of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association for ten years — the longest term possible under it’s by-​laws) and was commended for service.

He has tried over 30 cases to jury verdict and most of these were civil trials. He has also tried many other court trials, social security disability and arbitration hearings. He has handled appeals with the Minnesota Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, and with the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. Bob acts as a mediator and neutral on numerous personal injury, construction and product liability cases. In addition to four million-​dollar recoveries by jury verdict on behalf of clients, he has settled numerous cases over the years for six and seven figures. He is frequently retained by other Minnesota law firms to assist as trial counsel in complex litigation.

He has a passion for serving others and believes in finding justice for those who have been wronged. An avid reader and storyteller, Bob is the kind of guy that everyone wants to get to know.

Bob is a lifelong resident of Minnesota & enjoys spending time golfing with his wife and three kids.
