We do not use subcontractors for any services; all of our locksmiths are trained professionals who display the Rapid Key Recovery Inc. ethics and morals when handling our clients.

Our calls are answered and dispatched locally by knowledgeable technicians and not from a call center in another state or country.

John H.

Business Owner

John T. Harkess is an accomplished locksmith with 25 years’ experience. In 1990, John and Robin opened Rapid Key Recovery from a small office in NE Minneapolis specializing in Automotive Locksmithing. John quickly became known as an expert in the field and was called upon for advice from a locksmith in the surrounding states for advice. Johns passion is cars; he probably owns more than the average guy with a Porche, a Scorpion and Triumph Spitfire in his collection. He continues to stay educated in the automotive field as it has become very technical, taking any and every class available. In recent years he has expanded into the Commercial and Residential field providing services for companies such as The W Hotel, JC Penney, Eaton Corporation and many Property Management Companies. When he’s not working he is spending time with his wife and 5 sons and 3 grandchildren.
