Phil’s Barber Shop

Phil’s appears to be a time capsule that has not changed for about 50 years. Linoleum, pop machine, decorations all are right out of 1952. And not in an ironic way.
Have not gotten a bad haircut here. If you get there before 10am on Saturday, I’ve never had to wait. They also have Sunday hours, which is really convenient.
There is Phil and a really friendly lady who work there, and both give good haircuts.
Phil will often talk your ear off about all sorts of things, but seems to have special fondness for discussing the stock market. At length.
On an exciting note, they also sell Vietnamese snake wine in bottles at the cash register. I assume the lady who also works there imports it. Or perhaps she makes it out back.
