Orpheum Surface Lot

I was going to the Orpheum Theatre to see White Christmas. I reserved a spot in this lot before I left home, using parking panda, and not only was it convenient, but it saved me a buck. All you have to do is print your confirmation and place it on your dashboard. I don’t know if this is a parking panda snafu, but the confirmation showed a picture of this lot, but the address actually led me to the wrong place, approximately 4 blocks away. For the Orpheum Theatre, this is definitely the lot to use, as it is right across the street. There was a parking attendant on duty, trying to speed everyone through the self service kiosk. I thought that was nice. Just to highlight, I got to skip the line at the kiosk because I reserved online. The show was great and my car was still there waiting for me after he show (phew). As an out of towner, I felt very safe and secure using this lot.

Great Location for Theaters & Restaurants. Now that they have the new elctronic processing system it works very well. Very easy to get in & out of. Pay attention to the signage if you should need to park there overnight though.

I have to agree with Sara, this parking lot is ultra convenient and surprisingly cheap for it’s central location. Anyone who wants to develop a parking ramp with
— self-​service machines and
— credit card acceptance (Amex is extra credit!)
…gets my car to park there. Seriously, so much more user-​friendly not to have to deal with a parking attendant yammering away on their cell for all hours of the night or cracked out on energy pills taking your dollars.

if you are heading to Solera, the Gorilla Bar, or the Orpheum, this parking lot is extremely accessible. Literally, stay on Hennipen and then take a right and down you go!
The evening I can — a Tuesday — with no ostensible, or at least no major, showing at the Orpheum, it was 4 bucks for the evening.
Now, take note: you can ONLY pay cash if you KEEP your ticket and then pay BEFORE you get into your car (all done on the P1 level, I believe), but if you are like me and think the bills are so 20^th century, you’ll love it… insert your ticket, swipe your card, and off you go!
