NE Wax and Salon

I had my hair cut here last week. The salon is very trendy/​up to date with all white walls/​floor and wood accents. I walked out with great hair in 30 minutes. Price is probably average for Minneapolis. I will go back when my other stylist is unavailable.

Hands down the best wax I have EVER had. I will not be going anywhere else as long as Lorie is around!

On the (stellar, shining) recommendation of a friend, I finally allowed someone (Lorie, the owner) to wax my eyebrows. I’ve always done them myself, but time is getting tighter now with three kids and two jobs, and my friend’s eyebrows always looked amazing.
I was DELIGHTED with the results. My eyebrows have never looked so good! She is great at what she does. I’ll definitely be back.

I have been going to Lorie for waxing for a loooooong time. When her old salon called me to tell me she had left for NE Wax and Salon, I started to panic. My panic was definitely unnecessary because her new salon is way better than the old one!
Scheduling online is super easy and every time I’ve gone in for an appointment, I’ve been able to park right in front of the salon. I obviously love what Lorie does (like I said, she’s been my go to for a long time). She’s detailed and quick at the same time, she makes sure you are comfortable and she’s so sweet and fun to chat with!
I recommend Lorie to everyone I know. She is just fabulous!

I just moved here from Los Angeles and I was looking for a new hairstylist to just do my trims as I have been growing my hair out. I found this place because it was close to my house. I called and they got me in within 10 minutes which was nice. Erin trimmed my hair… or rather cut off 3 inches when we discussed 1 inch being cut off. I told her my layers were boxy. so she proceeded to make them MORE boxy… I typically can handle whatever with my hair but I cried when I got home. She RUINED my hair. I could tell she was in a rush because her next client came in. she hardly paid attention she just chopped away at my hair. I had to go to a fantastic sams the next day to fix the layers and take off as little length as possible. I am forever traumatized to let anyone cut my hair. The reason for the 2 stars is because the girl who did my eyebrows was AMAZING! I have never had more than a quick wax and she filled them in and made them look so nice. She is going to be eyebrow girl for as long as possible!
