Design | Build | Remodel specializes in custom remodeling for the entire home, with 32 years of expertise in kitchens, baths, additions, great rooms, basements, bedrooms, mud rooms, laundry, decks, porches and exteriors including roofs, siding, windows and doors. Unlike others, we offer not just one, but three levels of service, we can accommodate just about any project regardless of size or complexity. Last week we helped a 78-year-old woman retrofit her staircase for a chair lift. In the same week we won a Master Design Award for the recreation of a European wine cellar in a client’s basement. Everyday we get asked, «Can you do this?» And we almost always say, «Yes we can!»

Murphy Bros. is a family-owned business founded in 1983. John and Sherry Murphy represent a third generation in the residential construction industry.
In 2014 Murphy Bros. acquired Sass Construction in order to expand services to the south metro area. Many of his key staff stayed on as the foundation of the new south metro expansion and design center at 1330 Park Rd. Chanhassen, MN.
Whether you are team member or a client, we treat everyone with the same dignity, respect and genuine care. That is the foundation of our work. Business Owner
John worked as a carpenter while he attended Bethel College. After graduating with a BA in Business Administration, he put his knowledge and carpentry skills to use as he founded Murphy Bros. with his brother Nate in 1983. John has been active in the local and national remodeling communities since the mid 1990’s, promoting education, innovation and professionalism throughout the building industry.
