A go to for me! Kind, helpful staff, and the best café food in the North Loop! Their bakery items are unique and never disappoint. I love the FYG(fruit, yogurt, granola). Also, their coffee and chai latte are fantastic!

I came in here on a Sunday afternoon to get a quick bite and some coffee. They have a decent amount of brunch options but I opted for a simple hot cereal that had raisins, raisins, and walnuts along with a light roast coffee. The space is very nice and calming. It wasn’t too loud either for it being a smaller space. I was caught a little off guard when they started closing up around 2pm!(My usual coffee shop is open until 11pm on Sundays!) They were very nice about letting us finish but I did eventually rush out. Overall it was a cute spot and I liked that they offer full meal options.

Can never go wrong with the huevos rancheros! Amazing! French toast is bomb too. Perfect place to get your brunch fix. Only thing I ask for is more grease and meat! It’s cool to be healthy and all, but I’m a man and that’s what men want. And I usually find my way over here after a good ol’ night on the town. With that being said, this place is still fantastic. One day I’ll give the desserts a try. Awesome food and fun waitstaff!

Quality ingredients, nice atmosphere. I had lunch and got the Tuna Melt which was delicious. Freshly sourced tuna, some type of artisnal cheese, capers and some mayo spread. The guys next to me had the pizza which looked good. Will try that next time I’m in town. It’s definitely a go to spot for tasty food.

My first impression with Moose & Sadie’s was really positive, but after 4 times there I had to slow a bit down my thrill due to a couple of flawns. The place looks good, both outside and inside — the green walls are original and likeable, while the patio is a really nice place to read, study or chat with a friend. Working is also possible on the inside(if you can find a table with a close wall socket)…but not on Saturday. Yes, they’re open on Saturdays(NOT on Sundays!), but they don’t have Wifi. They do during the week, though. I was pretty puzzled when I arrived there with my bulky and akward computer bag on a sunny Saturday morning, and discovered I had brought my electronic friend for nothing and would have to work on the afternoon instead. I am still very puzzled. However, the food I had there was always tasty but light(they have different, inviting dishes and pastries every time and usually many of the last ones are made with cornmeal), as well as the drinks. The service could be a little slow sometimes, especially on Saturdays because it is quite crowded, and kindness and patience could be a bit downhill as well. To sum up, give it a try… but not on weekends.

Goods: The pie was excellent! M&S’s has plenty of indoor and patio seating. Bads: I’m starting to think I have early-onset menopause because this place and many other cafes(I’M LOOKINGATYOUSPYHOUSEONNICOLETTE) don’t seem to believe in air conditioning, even on the steamiest days. Uglies: The non-desserts we tried were just bland. Ingredient combos sounded great, plates looked nice but there is nothing wrong with salt or seasoning to highlight and bring out the other ingredients. Salt is not cheating. Herbs are OK!

What a wonderful place to spend a weekday afternoon! I was in Minneapolis for some official Unilocal biz, and met up with Jonathan T for some quality work and coffee time. I was so happy to see the selection of beverages available, and my heart skipped a beat when I saw iced Vietnamese coffee written on the chalkboard. It’s been my favorite caffeinated beverage for years, so naturally, I had to have it. They had a great looking selection of pastries, but I somehow resisted the temptation. When I needed something substantial, I decided to order the chicken salad sandwich, and boy was I glad I did. It was so fresh and flavorful! I love the natural light in this place, the gorgeous wood tables, the free wifi, and the friendly staff. I know where I’ll be setting up camp with my laptop the next time I visit the Twin Cities.

I love this place! Their HUEVOS rancheros are divine, and you can get half orders if you’re not that hungry. Their soup/salad menu changes often, but is always adventurous and delicious. The staff knows my order better than I do(almond milk caramel latte, please!), and are always friendly, polite, and easy to make conversation with. The menu is small, but I’d rather a place has a small menu that they do well than a large menu that they half ass. Stop by M&S — you won’t be disappointed.

If I was a hipster that worked from cafes, Moose & Sadie’s would find me quickly becoming a regular! I came for lunch with my mom and we were so pleased! They have a great space inside and outside in the heart of the North Loop. Their menu has rotating items each week to offer seasonal flavors. While there are limited selections, each item has a tantalizing combination of flavors for a reasonable price. I had the weekly sandwich, Cuban-style roast pork loin sandwich and my mom had a staple dish, huevos rancheros. We both loved the flavors. Each element had something to offer to the flavor pallet. There aren’t side dishes, which makes the bakery case tempting! Definitely worth a visit to experience the vibe of North Loop and try made from scratch dishes by the coolest hipsters in Minnie. I will be hitting up the pinto bean quesadilla as it was a popular chose amongst the crowd!

If this restaurant were in my neighborhood, I would be there all the time. I was in Minneapolis on business and a local shopkeeper recommended Moose & Sadie’s for coffee. I got a cup of coffee to go around 9:00a on my way to a meeting, and then came back later in the day to have brunch. Based on a staff member’s recommendation, I ordered huevos rancheros(half order) and 1 cornmeal pancake. These were 2 of the best plates of food I’ve had in a long time. I cleaned my plates. There is plenty of seating, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I could envision myself spending an afternoon there, working or reading. I saw a few people on their laptops doing just that. Looking forward to my next visit to Minneapolis so I can return to Moose & Sadie’s and try out the rest of the menu.

Wow. very unique and special place here and very busy. Accidentally drive by so circle the block for parking and here I sit. Americano drink and macaroon now and waiting for omelette sausage. Certainly a great food find. Back from second day breakfast here. Huevos Rancheros and Americano drink. All good but not amazing.

Cold press and huevos rancheros here are bomb. I used to spend a lot of time here when I was mainly working out of the North Loop area. Great coffee and fun staff. Their blondes are pretty good too and baked goods. Nothing bad to say about it especially on a sunny afternoon on the patio just to sit and people watch as well.

Great coffee options almond and soy milk available, limited breakfast menu but great dishes, high quality food, outside patio deck. Great location near the greenway so we biked here! Really cool modern vibes inside. No wifi on weekend was a bummer. Love this place!

I constantly get tasked with choosing a place to eat when I go out with my mother in law. She will stuff anything down her gullet so at least I have options. I love trying new places and I’ve slowly become more comfortable traveling to Minneapolis so that brought us to Moose and Sadie’s. I didn’t really have any expectations for this place aside from dishing up a delicious meal and a tasty cup of coffee to keep my blood flowing. The brunch menu was small, offering a couple quiches, huevos rancheros, cornmeal pancakes with fruit and mascarpone, and some other breakfast staples. I ordered the pancakes which were stacked two high and were the size of the plate. The pancake were nothing special. At all. Uninspired is an entirely overused term(by me) but this was emphatically so. MIL ordered the cheese and Mushroom quiche, which was cooked well. Or, at least the egg was. The cheese on top looked like the shit that burns to the pan when you make nachos. The flavor was less. Meaning flavorless. It was disappointing. The potatoes on the side were potato-y. They lacked any seasoning, and by seasoning I mean salt and pepper. They were boring. Basically when I am getting at is I could knock over anything on my counter right now and whatever spilled would make a more interesting dish than what we ordered at Moose and Sadie’s. I’ve slept on rocks more interesting than the food here.

Living right down the street from Moose and Sadies, I was stoked to have a local café/restaurant so conveniently located. After giving this place several tries, I would describe it as extremely mediocre. I’m an omelette girl and I can think of several nearby places with better omelettes. Theirs is spongy and lacks flavor. The huevos rancheros was good– better than the omelettes– but still, I’ve had better. Their muffins are pretty good so I would bet their pastries in general are better than their menu items. I will say coffee is one thing they’ve got going for them– it’s rich but without the burnt taste of Starbucks coffee. Will probably return for a cup of joe but pass on the food.

Rica and I tried to go to Haute Dish at 9AM on a Saturday, but it was shut. I pulled on the locked door until a man came out and said, «Moose and Sadie’s is open. It’s that way.» So we went.(I looked at the GPS, just to make sure.) The place was pretty packed. Rica got buckwheat pancakes, which had pistachios and a raspberry compote. I had the special, which involved grits, a biscuit, some citrus fruit, collard greens, and turkey. We both got big coffees that come in big mugs. Most everything was pretty darn good.

Visiting from Chicago for a wedding. We grabbed a few coffees and breakfast items(cherry scone, huevos rancheros). The staff was notably friendly and the experience was upscale and pleasant. I’d definitely order the cherry scone again. The prices are on the high side but we’d still return.

This café gives me über feels, like when I tune into Animal Planet’s «Pets 101» and watch omg-I-can’t-use-my-muscles-properly-yet puppies and kittens roll around on the floor or stuck underneath blankets. I attribute these feelings to the adorable and blown-up black and white photos of Moose and Sadie hung about, that could even make Ghostface Killa’s iron clad heart melt into a rainbow colored BFF promise bracelet. Cuteness. Level. Over. 9000. **** Seriously, though, this casual and quaint café is a North Loop gem, and it’s perfect for catching up with friends, brunchin’ with ya boo, and plowing through some work. My girlfriend and I stopped by the other day, and while she chilled w/our doggy(Cranberry) on their dog-friendly patio, I put-in a couple orders huevos rancheros and cold press. We also shared some deserts. Huevos Rancheros: It’s hard to go wrong with a runny yolk, refried beans, tortillas, avocado, sour cream, and cheese. This will surely fill you up. Cold Press: No acidic aftertaste. Smooth, cold, and strong — Can’t get any better than that. Ginger Lemonade: They put in so much ginger, that it’ll make your stomach burn. That’s a good thing. ;) Snickerdoodle Cookie: Moist, just a right amount of sweet, and plain ol’ tasty. Bread Pudding: You must get this caramel drenched deliciousness. I think it could even make paleo fanatics think about dabbling in carb-city sin. If Moose & Sadie’s resided in my hood, I would hangout there every other week.

This may be my new everyday spot. You can just tell, walking in, that it is a neighborhood favorite. I had delicious, farm-fresh eggs, wonderful toast, and fried potatoes that bring me back to my Southern childhood. It is on my way to work, nicely nestled in the North Loop, and truly a marvelous place. Sit outside and enjoy their great coffee, too!

Cute café with plenty of outdoor seating in a quiet(for now) part of the city. I like the chalkboard menu and the pastry display case. The clean lines of the décor and furniture make this place inviting. The menu seemed alright, but I was not inspired enough by anything to order food. So, I can’t say if the food is good or bad, but I can say that I wished there were some more veg items without cheese. The coffee and espresso drinks though– fabulous. Charged extra for soy or almond milk, but it’s worth it for the good stuff. Espresso is good here, and it’s definitely delivered up to do its job: energize and/or revive!
