Shiny new store! Horrible customer service!
Ordered a patio set online with $ 30 for local delivery and 11% rebate– such a deal!
With a heat index of 100 today, I called the delivery manager to reschedule as we’re in no hurry and there’s no need to punish the delivery crew… just wanted to take advantage of the rebate.
«Well why would you order same day delivery if you don’t want it same day?»
Long, very rude, discussion ensued.
Short story is that we settled «We’ll be home after 4 or anytime on the weekend, do you need my info?»
No, it’s the only delivery we have scheduled today. (How hard can it be to make a note in the delivery order, Mr. Delivery Manager?)
Apparently, too hard…
Order sat in ‘awaiting delivery’ status all day.
Checked status this evening and found the order was cancelled. No call, no email, nothing.
Reordered with ‘same day delivery’ again… for tomorrow.
Checking with corporate about any double billing issues that may arise and asking
«Why is it so hard to give you my money, and why should I continue to be a Menards customer?»

**CONSUMER BEWARE**
Too bad I can’t give a zero review! Be careful in using your store rebate checks, do not pair them up with additional cash. When you do, if you have anything to return, the store will only give you a merchandise credit. Instead, buy only what you know you will keep with a rebate check. Then, use your cash with a separate transaction, so if you return anything you will get cash back. This is a store policy with all Menards! Menards had no problem taking my cash in the first place, they just want to hang onto my cash instead of rightfully refunding it. How am I supposed to use this merchandise credit when I am no longer a Menards shopper after 35 years!

new store opened last week, 2 levels, has a rolling walkway! Bigger than the old
Menards store! Love shopping at Menards!

It has an odd floor plan w/​a 2^nd floor that seems to be added in. Staff is helpful & they stock ton’s of stuff. Best time to go is when they are having one of their 11% off sales.
