This is where antiques and other shipped items go to DIE.
My wife and I are selling all of our rare antiques. Most are going out-​of-​state. In the past month, two of our buyers have asked us to drop off their furniture at Mail Box Express to be shipped by these clowns!
1) Item number one: 1947 Heywood Wakefield Straight Bookcase, mint condition. Lived for 68 years but was then DESTROYED by Mail Box Express packing and UPS shipping.
2) Item number two: 1953 Heywood Wakefield Cocktail Table, mint condition. Survived for 62 years but was then DESTROYED by Mail Box Express packing the UPS shipping.
The shipping on both items was not only INCOMPETENT, it was FRAUDULENT. The cocktail table was shipped in a box with NO padding of any kind. It arrived at the person’s door up-​side-​down, with the four broken legs sticking out. Yet… the owner, Jung, still charged this poor lady for packing peanuts that he never used. They aren’t cheap either. They’re 3 bucks per cubic foot.
Now we are in the unfortunate position of having to forward photos and statements to help these people with insurance. Plus, my wife is sick that her cool stuff was demolished.
STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY, STAY AWAY!
Bring your item to my house, I’ll destroy it for you and only charge you 100 bucks!
