Ordered a sandwich at my apartment. I got the confirmation email at 910, the delivery guy called me by 912 and I received my sandwich by 915. it’s close to my place but still unreal fast.

DONOTCATERFROMTHISLOCATION. Actually, I don’t recommend giving them your business at all-but they’ll stay in business because they’re near a University campus. Seriously-don’t make the mistake of having them cater for your event(s). The convenience is temping because they are so close to campus, but they consistently have issues getting orders right, and management is rotten. I personally don’t like Jimmy John’s sandwiches, but I have placed multiple catering orders from them for group events because of the anticipated convenience. However, it’s not very convenient when they screw up your order every time. The last catering order I placed with them was for around $ 500 worth in sandwiches. They had the gall to show up nearly an hour late. They had gotten orders wrong before, but this was ridiculous. When we talked to management and ownership afterwards, they were extremely rude and condescending-and even had the audacity to tell us that«this is how the real world works.» Well, in the real world, I certainly won’t be giving them any more business. Per corporate-this is an individually owned franchise, and whoever that individual is clearly doesn’t give a damn about anything other than taking what’s in your pockets.

Always a reliable choice for reasonably healthy sandwiches. I especially like this location for the friendly staff and clean dining area. You can never go wrong with this location.

Gave one star because it took 40 minutes to get a sandwich. Called the store because that isn’t freaky fast and the person that answered was unnecessarily rude.

We consistently receive incorrect orders from this location. It is a shame because we LOVE Jimmy Johns. About half the time we do not get the peppers we want on our subs even when we note, PLEASEREMEMBERTHEPEPPERS. Last time, we didn’t even get our chips. This final time tonight the sub came with no peppers and no onions. The most they’ve done to «make it better» is put a $ 1 comp on our account. Whoopie, a buck. The time we’ve spent being bummed and having to make the call is worth more than a buck let alone the fact that we don’t even get what we want. How hard is it to realize that it takes more than a buck to prove to customers that you care that you’ve let them down consistently. We’ll think twice before ordering from Jimmy Johns again. There are a lot of other awesome options in the area that have always delivered correct orders.

I’m just going to come out and admit that I love Jimmy Johns. I love the Vito sub. I love how cheap it is. And I love that a bicycle messenger can get it to me in less than 10 minutes. One time I was really stiff from the gym and I had lunch in the breakroom, but I ordered a Vito anyway because I didn’t have to get out of my chair. Yeah. Now that’s America!

Jimmy Johns does the job when I’m a hungry and need a quick filling bite. I prefer JJ over its peers, Potbelly and Subway, because the bread tends to be better quality and there’s lots of it. I also like that the menu set up is simple. Plus, another great feature is the unwich when you’re not looking to carbo-load. I would hesitate to recommend the veggie unwich. The one time I’ve ordered it there was a mayo overload and the guacamole was nonexistent.

I eat here way too often… it’s just that dependable. If you haven’t been to a Jimmy John’s, think of a little nicer of a Subway. The sandwiches aren’t anything amazingly special, but they are definitely better than Subway and priced very close(and personally I think Potbelly, too). The staff is friendly and helpful(always zooming out and in with their bikes). I almost always order the #12 Beach Club– turkey, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, provolone and mayonnaise on wheat. The wheat bread is actually very good, but they don’t offer it when you order your sandwich. One tiny thing: the menu says the Beach Club is supposed to have sprouts on it, and they NEVER put them on there? Not that I’m a HUGE fan of sprouts, but if that’s what the menu says…

We phoned our order in from a hotel we were staying at. We planned to take the sandwiches to the airport for a quick meal before our flight. The delivery was quick and friendly — love how they ride their bikes! I ordered a turkey sandwich and Casey ordered roast beef I think. They were both tasty — nothing super special. The bread was nice and soft. In retrospect I should’ve added onions. I was pleased with the sandwiches, but not jumping for joy.

Jimmy John’s is my jam as far as subs go. The vegetarian sub is perfect. The key is the avocado spread. Even though I’m not a veg anymore, I would never get anything else. And really, being able to order a giant pickle makes a trip to JJs worth it in my book. Bonus: they deliver! Double bonus: they deliver by bike!(at least at the Dinkytown location)
