History

Established in 2001.

Founded by Doug Klares in October of 2001, ICS started as a man with a desk and a phone. His tenacity and work ethic through difficult economic times have grown ICS into the $ 35M company it is today. With 3 offices and 65 recruiters, account managers and administrators, ICS is a constantly growing company, changing with the current economic climate to fit our clients’ needs. It is the embrace of change, combined with the integrity and strong leadership of our executives which keeps ICS on top in the staffing and recruiting industry.

After graduating from the University of Iowa in 2004 with a marketing focus, Chris made a move to Minnesota. With 7 years of recruiting and account management in the staffing industry under his belt, Chris joined the ICS team to open our Minneapolis office in late 2009. In the time since, his focus on long-​term relationships and «doing the right thing» has grown that office to include a team of recruiters and a team of account managers. While keeping an eye on what lies ahead in the future, Chris presses his office to grow client and candidate relationships in the present. His guidance and enthusiasm through tough economic times is a driving force behind the success of this office and ICS as a whole.
