Hidden Treasures Thrift Store

Alright, so I’m rating this place pretty high because of the amazing finds here. Like any thrift store it’s hit or miss, but I’ve been able to get some amazing finds so I think it’s great. If you are looking for clothes, skip it. The selection isn’t great. Anything else under the sun you will find here. I love how organized everything is and the friendly service. The best kept secret of this store is the weekly silent auction. I’m almost afraid to write about it, lest I have to compete with more people for some of the gems that are up for sale each week. Every Monday more of the high-​end items or antiques are put in a display case and can be bid on until 4pm Saturday. You don’t even have to be present to win.

Walking through the house hold & kitchen items makes you feel like you’re in a department store! I may be exaggerating a tad bit, but this place is so well organized!
My first trip there I was waltzing down the aisle for at least an hour. I found a few good things here and there. They have some really good furniture pieces and some awesome house hold items!
Household items are Hidden Treasure’s strong suit. Clothes… not so much. They lack something, mostly stock to fill the racks! In my opinion, they could use more donations of older women. They have very few jewelry options, vintage clothes, real leather purses, lovely blouses, or high waist skirts. Things that I think make a good thrift store, but that of course is my opinion.
I will say however, they do have some nice shoes and coats. I picked up two pairs of summer shoes that look barely worn! They have some nice purses, but few options.
They nice thing about Hidden Treasures is the nice staff, it’s well organized, and it’s small! Thrift stores are challenge enough to shop in, it helps when it’s less ground to cover and less clutter to sort through!

This is a smaller-​sized thrift store.
Pros:
— Very well organized, nice display and very clean
— Very nice selections for furnitures, pictures, and table wares
— Most of the shoes are only 3.99 per pair
Cons:
— Clothings and accessories. they are all pretty heavily used.

Hidden Treasures is hit or miss for me. I only know of it because it’s in my hometown of St. Anthony (just outside of NE Mpls). It’s pretty small compared to other thrift stores (e.g. Savers, Unique), although sometimes that’s nice on a tight schedule. It’s also very well-​organized!
I love that most of their shoes are $ 3.99. I found the most adorable black velvet kitten heels with bows a couple years ago (RIP). They often have fun fabrics, so check that out. Currently I have some beautiful fabric I found there hanging on my wall as a pseudo-​tapestry. I wouldn’t necessarily look for clothes here, but I have found a couple pretty vintage slips among the racks.
