I had 2 brand new doors installed 4 years ago by Great Garage Door. A spring broke on the large door in less than 5 years. They have a 5 year warranty on springs so no problem, right? WRONG. Their «5 year spring warranty» is crap. It doesn’t cover labor and is prorated on the parts — which means that they’ll give me 20 dollars off the $ 200 repair to a door that’s not very old and that THEY installed. On top of that, the cables are coming apart and have to be replaced as well. Quality is horrible and the warranty is a joke — they do not stand behind their work or product.
The replacement springs (from a company who stands behind their work and products) have a lifetime warranty on parts and if they EVER break it is 90 dollars to replace — even 10 years later.
I would recommend you RUN, not walk, away from this company!

This is a very honest and trustworthy company to work with. Randy came out on short notice to give us an estimate. Very upfront and honest. Didn’t push us in a direction he wanted. Just gave his advice and professional input and let us decide what we wanted to do.
Dan K. was an awesome installer. Very good at what he does. You can tell he takes a lot of pride in his work. Very professional and has a great sense of humor.
This company is very reasonable. They beat two other companies by a lot. I feel like we got a very fair price and a quality product.

They came out to my house to fix a garage door opener and upon arrival, noticed it was simply the release rope that wasn’t pulled correctly. Instead of a courtesy call and a tip ($ 20, $ 40…) they charged me $ 104 for 20 seconds at my house. As a contractor who does plenty of work, I will not be utilizing their services anymore for myself or my customers. There are other reputable garage door companies in the area that would be happy to ensure a future returning customer.

I purchased and had a Liftmaster garage door opener installed a little over two years ago, in 2009 – 2010. Intially the service we received was very good, albeit expensive. Recently a sprocket on my garge door opener broke, I called GGD, found out that the warranty had expired (1 yr. manf warranty) but it was going to cost me $ 85 for them to show up and «diagnose» the problem (I live less than a mile away from their office). I opted to call the reccomended garage door company that Liftmaster suggested in the area (online). They came out fixed it for a small fee, but the service tech noticed that the manf date on the opener was from 2004! So technically two years ago I purchased a garage door opener that was already 6 years old! I was never informed of this, I definetly would not have consented to having a old opener installed, not when paying for a brand new opener! This place is untrustworthy and when my wife called they were extremely rude. Also if they carry the Liftmaster line, why are they not the preferred dealer in this area??? I don’t think they were very upfront with me and I would have never known, had not another garage door company pointed it out to me. I definetly cannot reccomend this company to anyone else. To anyone who purchased a garage door opener from this company, please check and see when said garage door opener was manufactured.
