I consider myself a pretty laid back person especially since I work in customer service too. Today I returned four items that I had bought for a gift because the items were too small. When it came for me to ring up the returns, the sales person at the counter was not helpful at all. She made it seem like my transaction was such a chore and that I was totally inconviencing her. The jacket that I wanted to buy had some tears on them and the feathers were coming out. But the sales associate just said, «well that happens.» I’m thankful that after 15 minutes she finally located another location that had that jacket for me to buy, but I would have to go pick it up myself or if I wanted it sent to the store or to my address I would have to pay for shipping. On top of that, after numerous attempts to return my items, when I told the associate and her manager that their attitudes and customer service was not reflecting well on GAP they were so condescending and patronizing. Unfortunately this is not the first time I’ve heard of the extremely lazy and poor customer service at this GAP. This is really unacceptable. There is a lot of competition out there for overprice medium quality clothes and good customer service goes a long way towards brand loyalty.

I stopped in to look for a pair of blue jeans. What a disaster. The stock was completely disorganized. Styles and sizes were co-mingled making it very difficult to find a pair in my size. Meanwhile, the loud music blared overhead as the staff stood idly by, too cool to help. Dislike.

Let’s start off with this, I am a Gap Silver Card holder. I’ve been to probably MOST of the Gaps in the Twin Cities area. I’m used to having GREAT service at all the Gaps I’ve been to… except at MOA. I never leave MOA Gap satisfied. There’s a huge lack of attention to customers and personal service. They never quite acknowledge your existence or check in with you to see if you need any help. They all seem to roam around straitening things even though the store always looks disheveled. Don’t even get me started with their fitting rooms! Last time I was there trying on somethings, I first off had to wait forever to get a room opened for me even though there were loads of rooms empty. The attendant was not present at all. She clearly had an on floor job and was over her head in tasks. The rooms all had clothing from previous customers, and there were random manikins blocking the empty fitting rooms. It got busy quick. Horrible time. I realized that they may have a lot of stock, but they just can’t serve their customers as well as smaller stores. Not attentive, not personal, and not organized! Try the downtown IDS or Rosedale stores. I’ve experienced excellent service at both!
