Crepes that would make a frenchman blush. Amazing find walking down the street in northeast. Cheap as good as in paris and from the nicest friendliest guy. Wish this was in my neighborhood. Awesome and a steal at four dollars. You cant beat this kind of gem.

Fun street style crepes! Workers are fun and chatty while they make the crepes in front of you. Not sure when they operate but check on them when you’re in the area.

Art-A-Whirl weekend and I knew I could count on one thing… For Crepes Sake being open! Usually, this creperie is only open Thursday evenings in the summer, but they griddled up French crepes all last weekend for the special occasion. You’ll see a bare bones sign from the sidewalk, which will lead you to the metal shack is attached to the east side of Two 12 Pottery, a gift shop and ceramics studio(same owners, I believe). The stand consists of two griddles, four menu items and is staffed by just about the friendliest people you could ever meet. Ever. Once you order, your crêpe is cooked and folded right in front of you. They cook quickly, so you won’t have to wait long to put it in your belly where it belongs. I ordered the Nutella crêpe, because seriously… who DOESN’T order Nutella when they have the opportunity? Other than plain Nutella, they offered cinnamon sugar, Nutella/banana and strawberry jam for fillings on Saturday for $ 4 – 4.50. The only room for improvement that I saw is that it would be nice if they used local jam rather than Smuckers. We have quite a few great jam-makers in the Twin Cities that make more exciting flavors. This hidden gem feels like such a warm, neighborly hangout(the staff calling out regulars by name; a friend stopping by to see if the crêpe-makers needed a cold drink; the tip jar says«college fund»; etc.). Won’t you be my neighbor, For Crepes Sake?
