Family & Cosmetic Gentle Dentistry

We just dropped this office today. My family has been going here for about 5 years and I’m tired of them canceling appointments on us. Plus, they seem to have a different dentist on staff every time we go in. We rarely see the same dentist, which is important to me. I’ve also heard the front desk staff and hygenists talking about patients quite negatively as I sit in the lobby. One time I was waiting in the lobby and a woman came in for her scheduled root canal. They said they had to cancel the appointment on the spot because the dentist had to leave. This woman was almost in tears because she had taken two days off from work for the surgery. They could have seemingly cared less. Years ago when we first started coming here, we were very impressed. One of the hygenists is very kind and remembers all of us and makes you feel at ease. Then they hired this man who comes across as very condescending and shames you for you brushing habits. I once heard him go to the front desk staff and ask them to call the rest of his patients for the day because he was going home. He wasn’t sick. The office is very dated too and while the equipment seems to be on par with other dentists, the building needs a serious remodeling. If seeing the same dentist is important to you and having reliable, kind, thoughtful hygenists makes you feel more at ease, then this is not the place for you. We are only sad to say farewell to the one female hygenists who has been very kind to us over the years. I think we’ve seen about five different dentists in the five years we’ve been there. No consistency.
