We are a licensed & insured residential building company specializing in brick, stone, and chimney restoration. We work hard to match the existing masonry, and will re-​use materials when possible. We can also work with you in designing your new projects which will enhance the look of your home. Since we are a small family owned and operated business all masonry work is completed by the owner. This allows us to complete your projects at a competitive price, and make certain the work is completed to your satisfaction and our high standards.

History

Established in 1998.

Emerald Masonry is the culmination of years of training for its owner, Philip S. Three years after moving to Minnesota, Philip recognized that there was a need for a craftsman who could provide Twin Citians with the quality, and affordability they deserve.

Business Owner

Philip trained in Ireland and England and his Old World craftsmanship and attention to detail are evident in his finished works. Growingup in Ireland, Philip worked under the watchful eye of his father, a master craftsman, learning stone masonry. Before coming to America, Philip was a bricklayer in London where he worked on some prestigious restoration projects including Paddington Station. Philip has been in America for 17 years.
