At first sight the El Dorado restaurant looks like a vicious rape dungeon filled with salmonella and montezumas revenge… But when you sit down and order a beer the place really comes alive…
The little accents of Mexican culture inside mixed with the rapey atmosphere outside really makes you feel like you’re in Mexico.
The bean burrito was exquisite. Just like grandma used to make it even had some strange clear fluid coming out the side. Really reminded me of home.
I would really recommend this restaurant if your in this shitty side of town and want to get in out of the cold and meth heads.

The food at El Dorado (Minneapolis — Columbia Heights) is excellent and authentic – evidenced by natives who flock there for big plates of the real thing. Friends from Venezuela and Colombia have taken me there twice, and we’ve also ordered take-​out. It’s casual and affordable– located in a strip mall just off Central Avenue. Highly recommend.
