I had some time to kill and stopped in here to buy 5 items. Puzzle book, toothpaste, travel bottles and antibacterial wipes as I am traveling soon. The carpet is nasty and ruined with stains. Noone bothered to vacuum or face the shelves to look nicer. See photos. Noone must reorder candy either. Cashier was nice as I said hi to her first. Good enough to stop in for a few things. Where is the District Manager? No attention to detail. Looks like noone working here cares.

Seriously I get it it’s the dollar store I get it it’s not wholefoods. I’ve been in a million and can say this one is the worst I’ve ever seen. I just moved in around the corner came here for a few items. The store was trashed and a mess. Boxes everywhere in front of shelves where I had to move them just to get down the freaking isle. I finally get in line with two people in front of me in line with maybe 6 things max. Took forever to get out of the store know why? The girl behind the counter was wayyy to chatty with her coworker and loves to talk with her hands. Seriously? you are paid to work and there are items in front of you ring them up that is your job not chit chatting with your friends while the boss is gone. So annoying.

I’m not a huge dollar store person, but when i need to get some items for a value(and obviously on a budget) I may just stop in one of these places. Okay, so actually I was organizing an event for work and needed some fun party items for a «photobooth» shoot — — and i figured a dollar store would costs less than your typical party store; and it was! This location… it’s not that bad. It’s not like you’re in Beverly Hills or anything, but there is a nice parking lot(so no on-street parking). A + Clearly there was a large variety of items here — — but for my intentions, I was able to find some cute party hats, some masks, hula hoops, and various other party paper essentials.(All expensed, thank you work!) … I did see a lady(I think it was a lady?) walking in w some name-less brand of detergent probably to return. I never even would’ve thought of buying that there… but those that are interested, i guess that might be a good option.

This dollar store finds itself in the less that safe and classy parts of Minneapolis and therefore I suggest going during the day and locking your car. The location has a ton of items that are the must haves, toilet paper and paper plates at the REAL dollar price. The staff are mediocre and the place isn’t always very clean but at least you can barrel down the isles and just count items to know your total. Great for any budget and they have brand name food items; which is always a plus. What makes this location unique is that it is in the parking lot of the ALDI’s so you can go next door to get your other foods if need be.
