Located in Minneapolis, Dharma Field is a community that supports the exploration and cultivation of Zen meditation and teachings. We offer sitting meditation periods, public talks, classes in Buddhism and Zen, and work meditation.

On our website you may access online Dharma talks and read selected Buddhist sutras and a variety of articles written by our teachers. Register online for sesshins, classes, membership, and other offerings. Books and meditation cushions are found in the resources section of our website.

History

Established in 1997.

Dharma Field was founded in 1997 by Steve Hagen, a Soto Zen priest and respected author of books on Buddhism and the Buddhadharma.

Two Dharma teachers are available for guidance and instruction: Steve Hagen and Norm Randolph are both Dharma heirs of Dainin Katagiri Roshi.
